smart switch newbie

hi need some help. i'm looking at changing my existing light and fan switches to smart switches.
1. can i just buy any smart switch like this and swap them out for the old existing one?
2. do i need a hub of some kind or can they just work via wifi once setup? i have smart timer plugs like this and they dont require any hub.
3. do they need a capacitor installed too? or is there any smart switch that doesnt require capacitor, or hub?
i'm looking for the simplest solution

i have a 1100 sqft apartment. no carpet. no pets. is there any good robot vacs for around rm1k? i'm looking for one that will run daily and keep the bigger visible dirt like hair etc at bay. i do a proper dusting, vacuum and mop once a week.

i need help with basic info re my built-in induction bosch PPI82560MS. never used induction before and want to know what diameter is the magnet (heating section) on the hob. with this info hopefully i can buy optimal diameter cookware. i heard that the lines or circles marked on the surface are not necessarily the size of the actual cooking area. checked the manual - dont have details. and called bosch malaysia customer support twice over 2 days - they dont know and still trying to find out!!!

i'm moving to an apartment for the 1st time in my life. we have done built in cabinets from floor to ceiling there. i asked the cabinet contractor what is the weight limit for each shelf. he didnt know. he just said best to keep heavy stuff low and light stuff up. anyone know what the safe weight limits are on these kind of cabinets.

i have a new apartment just over 1k sqft, looking to replace the current tiles with a wood look flooring. a quick search showed sooo many companies doing it, all claiming to be the best or most experienced. plus there are so many types of flooring, thicknes, and even underlay material. firstly which companies would be best to use (i dont mind paying a bit more if the work and material quality is good). 2ndly what material should i go for that looks and feels like wood, easy to maintain and can withstand water spills etc. plus any other considerations? any help to refine my search would be much appreciated.

im moving to an apartment. installing kitchen stove oven and hood. i have never used a hood before. i found a basic one with no auto clean etc for under 1k ELBA ETERNO EH-E9122ST(BK). what are some of the must-have features of a hood? my budget is around 1k max. i have an opening next to the cooking area to vent the hood. i do medium amount of cooking with minimum deep frying.

is there such a thing as waterproof cabinets (that look good)? i need cabinets in these areas... entrance (shoe rack), dry kitchen, wet kitchen, batroom, balcony (gardening material). my mum recently installed a waterproof metal shed outdoors at her house but i wouldn't want to see that kind of finish in my kitchen/bathroom etc

every time i have replaced 2 old tyres, i ask the tyre shop boss to place the new tyres on the rear and bring the existing 2 used tyres to the front. and every single time they laugh saying that its best to have the new in front. the staff doing the work also make negative remarks about my request. anyone knows a tyre shop in KL/PJ where they know its best to put the new tyres in the rear, and i dont get mocked for that decision?
