He always poked fun at my interests or stuffs that I like. I finally got fed up of it and told him off. His explanation: he just can't help being annoyed by the stuffs that I like.

So I told him I've never ask him to like them, but why must he show his annoyance and hurt my feelings? Obviously no one like it when their gf/bf start calling their interests/hobbies lame right? He said he just can't change himself. And then we broke up.

Is this too minor a reason to break up a relationship of one and a half years?

My boyfriend went for the JPA interview, for medicine. He got 8A+ 1A and 1A- for his SPM. Before JPA results was announced, he got the offer letter from matriks. After that the prime minister said, 8A+ students will automatically get JPA scholarship. So he was hopeful lah. But when JPA results was out, they told him that they're sponsoring him to go matriks and then if his results are good, he will get into local U.

Right now he's really frustrated with matriks, and really wanna get out of there. Also, there's too much medical school in Malaysia, and future for medicine students is quite bleak here, so he really wanna study overseas after his foundation, but matriks is not acceptable outside Malaysia, right? But he's trapped! He said his parents can afford his A levels, but can't afford for his medical degree (or any other degree actually). And if he leave matriks, means he's declining the JPA scholarship, and they will blacklist him from receiving any future scholarship. He's worried that he can't get PTPTN loan for his degree too. His parents aren't rich, so a bank loan may be hard to come by too.

I like to ask:
1) Does the Singapore government accept A levels from any local private colleges, and provide scholarship too?
2) Is there any other scholarship for students with good A levels results?
3) Is it true that after JPA blacklist you, you can't get a PTPTN loan?
4) Are there any good option/alternative to go about this? :/

I bought this camera from an antique store a few weeks ago...

Now it's sitting in my cupboard..lol
because i dunno how to load the film, or advance to the next frame, and not really sure the shutter working or not O_o
(i don't hear the click sound when i press the shutter button..)
any slr users that can help?
it's more complicated than the lomo cameras i use...
