Mesh Wifi better than Range Extender?

Hi,

so i've always have this problem where the range is too far for my main Maxis wifi to reach (Lvl 1 hall)

tried so many DIY solution and i reckon its time i get professional help and resetup all my connection.
is there any Networking professional assistance i can get?

Hi,
Anyone know how to configure the maxis router dhcp lease time? Lots of client hogging my network.

Couldnt find the button to set it... By default the lease time is set to infinite, and thats not good

Hi,

was wondering how come some old shop lots, suddenly become wisma?

i understand if the whole row of shoplots combine become 1(sounds more logic), but its like a trend now that only 1 lot (i.e 2-3 floors) suddenly have the title "WISMA ... "

back in the days, WISMA is for big buildings... now i think its replace as "MENARA" right?

any pros and cons for WISMA? or it just look cool?? or anyone can just do it?
i tried searching on the net, but no luck.

Extend WiFi

Hi guys,

i'm planning to expend my office to 2nd floor. The existing router is in lvl 1.

how do i make the wifi coverage to 2nd floor? i've been reading up alot of article about extending, but couldnt get a clear picture.

same situation at home, i'm currently using the TP-Link TL-WA850RE, 2 units (G floor and 2nd floor) to connect both to my main UniFI router (TL-WR1042ND) at level 1 (which means middle floor of my house).

As for my office, im in the old fashion type of office where it is very very long. If i were to use the same TP-Link (TL-WA850RE) setup for my house, the signal couldnt reach the back off the office. therefore i'm thinking to add another router at the 2nd floor (in the center of the floor) to make sure the office gets full/satisfactory signal strength.

Which router should i get? any recommendations?? possible if could run me thru how to set it up as well =)
