Hi sir /madam,

Recently I have bought an electronic xiaomi water flosser from shopee online and it has warranty of 1 year...

In this 6 months, the item have broken down 3 times and seller has acknowledged that the product /model is faulty and the manufacturer can't get fixed so they want to give me another model which is older model plus return me price difference...

I have not accepted their offer hence I am writing to kpdn with a few questions

1. Because they r giving me an older model(inferior specifications) , do I have the right to reject and ask for full refund instead?

2. If I agree with older model, am I entitled to warranty extension?

Hi Any1 here familiar with shark fin products?

My mom was offered shark fin products by ambank and uob.. Different sales person...

But when she is ready to invest at uob, united closed end series strategic strategic recovery fund 3 suddenly they ask her to bring in more funds bcoz the shark fin product only for privilege customers.. I'm thinking they r bs-ing.. And want her to buy another product instead which is JV with prudential.. Of course we all know all these insurance related products is more beneficial to the sales person and bank...

Any thoughts?

CIMB SG closing my acc

CIMB SG is closing my acc.. want some opinion/suggestion frm sifus kalian... i have 2 options..

1. convert it to MYR NOW and get rate @ 3.06-3.07 (no charges)

2. send to my Foreign Currency Acc in CIMB MY(around 60 sgd charges or maybe more).. (and do Dual Currency Investment - something very new to me ive not done it - my RM suggested me to pair with AUD?)(if i go by this option but suddenly decide to sell my SGD to CIMB MY - rate is circa 3.03)

taking into consideration these r extra funds for investment, im inclined to option 2. but would appreciate some inputs?

i received a cheque frm SG recently and was thinking what is the best method to cash out the cheque..

it seems like the bank isn't giving much good rates.. probably like 3.04 only...zzzz

the other option is to keep it in foreign currency acc...?

3rd party scam

Hi guys, I kena 3rd party scam last year and now still got some issues haunting me.. Wanna ask how to go about this?

I made a covering report against the person who lodge report against me and sent to IPD sentul to meet sarjan and already they said for the case "no further action"

BUT

I kena this last year and having issue opening bank acc now - bank push to police, police push to bank.. Now I don't know need to resolve with who.. Police ask me rujuk bank since no file was open for my case - bank ask me go ask police to ask the person who lodge the report against me to withdraw his report (police said he unable to do so?)

This issue frm Cimb and before I can't open anymore accs with Cimb - they said the system block my name - but after the manager help to call the relevant department OK done settled d after few weeks - I done a few new products with them (open fd/new savings/current acc) .... But yesterday went to HLB I kena jammed..... So now checking back with Cimb again..

What do u think ah? Any ideas to go about this?

getting a new TV for the room and i dont have much experience with TV.... just only i got free maxis TV Samsung TU 7000 i got nothing to complain so im looking for similar spec/brand....

almost set my mind on panasonic hx650/655 (cant remember the SA said 650 or 655) 43 inch - rm1590 at senheng now..

but got ppl said pana is ODM frm skyworth? senheng offer 3 years so really not bad i think... not gonna buy on shopee or those as i need senheng added value service like installation, warranty, etc.

Looking for 43", preferably android,tv is mostly for Netflix/movie that's it 😃 budget would b entry level budget - rm1600 +- I think?

any inputs?

broadband for smart TV

hi ,

place im staying in now no internet... im looking for something temporary as i moved out frm house as doing some minor reno will b for a few months... so FIBRE is not an option...

it'll b mostly for SMART TV... am planning to get something like broadband...

today went to celcom, they said they dont have such plan.. ?
im using maxis for my handphone internet is bad around the house... so i guess maxis is not for me..

so my options is like digi.. which can sign up the package nearest to where i am now. RM 85 for 60 GB base auota + 40 Streaming quota = total 100 GB

as for umobile, have to go far...

what other options i have ah? as i already got like the umobile MiFi mode.. and i think basically i just need to get the SIM?
