hi all,

just wondering, have any of you moved a built in wardrobe before? just got a place and the previous owner made a very nice built in, but it occupies a whole room (converted 1 bedroom into walk in closet). so i wanna move it out and reclaim that bedroom.

has anyone done that before? just wondering on the risks and the costs (also for painting if anyones done that).

Can you/have you gone a day without breaking the law in some way or another (after you turned 21)?

I was thinking about it yesterday. i think i break at least 2-3 laws per day. doesnt have to be murder... but like park car in the unmarked spot. cross double line, beat the red light once in a while. jaywalk. think/say bad thoughts/things which could make one get thrown in jail, etc.

was chatting a lot in FFXV topic about all kinds of RPG (on playstation i guess). made a new topic here so doesnt kacau too much that one. dunno if it will pick up but yeah. hahah. anyways.

feel free to chat here about RPG. for me favourite RPG's of all time

1. WILD ARMS (only the first one) - i think i played it like 6 times from start to finish. the only game ive played where after 1 hour it shows the game credits. first time i played i was like WTF and then turned off the game. heheh. played a month later after a friend mentioned theres more hahahah.
2. Suikoden (ALLLLLLLLLLLLL of them. nothing like a good turn based RPG with large scale war battles, build own castles, build army of 108 characters, gambling, plot twists, gambling, etc... so damn gooding. Y U NO MAKE NEW ONE!?!!) - the only game that actually made me cry...
2. Final Fantasy VII - of cos.
3. Final Fantasy X & X-2 - great story and battle systems for both. the dress thing was weird, in the end just used 1-2 dresses till max level and can finish the game. ahhh love rikku.

happened the other day on imbi. and taxi drivers wonder why people moving to other means of transport... of course not all cabbies are bad. but many are. and here is one of those nutjobs.

"On the 20th March 2016, two ladies while driving on Jalan Imbi were chased and attacked by a taxi driver because they honked when he cut them off abruptly at a turning with a double line. As rage erupted, the taxi driver chased their car, almost colliding into theirs. And when they reached a traffic light, he proceeded to get out of his taxi to attack their car. He had tried to open the driver's door and because it was locked, he punched the window and spat on the car. He continued to swear at them and punched and kicked the car on the passengers side. This video only shows the later half of the incident. This episode only ended when the traffic light turned green.

Do you know this taxi driver? An orange taxi with the number plate HWD 2847.
Imagine if he was driving you around. Or if he had managed to open the driver's door.

This driver should be taught that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable and more so, he should not be a taxi driver! Spread awareness to keep our community safer. Get him off the roads!"

Nasi lemak listed in TIME Magazine’s healthy breakfasts

PETALING JAYA: Nasi lemak, the staple Malaysian dish, has been recognised as one of 10 most healthy international breakfasts by TIME Magazine.

Listing down the various components of the coconut rice dish, the article described nasi lemak as “supremely delicious”.

“Yes, there’s a bit more fat than is good for you (eat less rice to reduce), but it’s balanced with lots of manganese, protein, and carbs.

“The chili in the sambal also boosts the metabolism (depending which nutritionist you talk to),” according to the article on Tuesday.

Also on the list was the Turkish breakfast spread featuring olives, tomato, white cheese, eggs and sausages as well as the Israeli shakshouka in which eggs are poached in a tomato and vegetable sauce.

The Japanese breakfast of various side dishes alongside rice and the Vietnamese pho bone broth, which comes with a variety of vegetables and herbs were also listed.

Convert Driving License (foreign)

Hi all,

need some help. wondering if anyone has converted a Chinese (PRC) driving license to a Malaysian one? (or other foreign language license to Malaysian)

I'm just wondering about the translation and endorsement portion. Can i just get it translated by certified translator and authenticated/notarised at the consulate and then submit to JPJ or other? cause its pretty expensive process and seems not much info and embassy not very helpful.

if anyones actually gone through it, i would really appreciate it. thanks.

Digital Door Lock

hi all,

considering to buy a digital door lock as so troublesome with many keys and carrying barang and managing baby etc. at least 1 door less to cari kunci and open.

any recommendations? i saw got quite a few brands out there with the most common being Samsung. hoping to get one around RM600-800 only though. a bit lower budget, but as long as it works. no need the super canggih high end super tough etc one. if pencuri wanna masuk, i dont think this normal lock can stop them anyhow .. thanks.

Sliding Door Repair?

hi all, last night i broke the wheel of my wardrobes sliding door. fml.... i opened it and it hit something and was forced off the track breaking the plastic wheel thing. the steel bracket and roller is still fully intact, but there is this plastic rolling disk thing around it that goes into the track. hai.... it still opens and closes but its steel on steel so very noisy... anyone have any cheap contacts that may be able to fix this? i lost the number for the taukeh that made the wardrobe. i'm gonna see again tongiht after work if i can do anything mysefl. happened at 2am so too tired to figure it out.... but would appreciate contacts if possible. thanks.

The red fella was parked and makan the other parking spot. but the kancil can still fit, so the fella parked there. apparently he took the photo so he would remember his parking spot and also possibly to complain about the GTR's crappy parking. who knew in the end the GTR would slash his tayars?!

Child Safety - Balcony netting?

hi lyners.

just wondering if anyone can provide some tips. my apartment got thin railing, which i believe my son cant fit through... but who knows. plus dont want him to throw things down.. any ideas as to how to close it off? maybe some strong netting? was thinking chicken wire, cause its stronger, but that rusts.
