Easyparcel - POS LAJU, How to not mixed up parcel

Today i received a call from a customer from Sabah, asking me why he receive a SONY Sports earphone worth more than RM 300+, when he only order a Logitech G302 mouse.

I trace back then found out that the earphone belongs to the buyer from Johor. I realise POS LAJU already screwed up my parcel.

I have taken many steps to avoid this kind of problem. First, the description of the Consignment Note is indicated correctly what item is inside. Then before sealing, i always check the content of the box.

But what happens after collection / drop off is out of our control, because EasyParcel consignment note are divided to 4 pieces, 3 of which, have to be in the flyer.

When it reach the POS LAJU Branch, the Pos Laju processing officers will pull out the office copy to perform scanning. Unfortunately, the printed copies of the Easyparcel note is too big for the medium flyer, hence when they want to pull out, they have to pull out every pieces then only put it back. I suspect this is what happen, they pull out many copies and mixed up when putting back.

So i think to avoid such a thing from happening, there are only 2 ways

Easiest way, which i always do and never have mishap is to drop off the parcel at POS Laju branch myself. When i drop off, the office paper has been taken out, and they will just stamp every Pengirim copy, and take all the Pejabat copy for scanning . 2 Copies will be left inside the flyer untouched.

2nd way is to write the tracking number on the flyer / box, so if they pull out many copies and want to trace back, they can still do it.

Because both order came at different time of the day, and the mouse was processed in the morning at 11:13 am. The order for SONY was processed around 4 PM

Hi, i just started doing eCommerce. So far the experience has been rewarding. I learned so much after a lot of mistakes and pitfalls. But now i encounter a small problem which i would like to ask opinion whether anyone encounter as buyer/ seller before.

Yesterday i send out a bundle keyboard and mouse. I remember the box was damn heavy, and the stock just arrive from distributor . I just bubble wrap and cellotape around it, then brown paper wrap it with loads of cellotape again. Pos Laju picked up, and today customer received. But the problem is, customer claim that the item didn't have the bundled mouse when his son opened it.

I asked if its wrappings and box was sealed, and the guy said yes. After that he sent me an "unboxing" video by his son and another person. I quoted unboxing because the video is like a re-enactment. I can see that the box was already opened but in the video they tried berlakon as if its an unopened box. Even to the part where they were asking "mana mouse ni ?"

I ask the disti salesperson and she said will get back to me on Monday, and i further asked if this has happened before with this brand, she said NEVER. (its a very famous brand for cpu cooling)

I told her i still want to believe the user, maybe the re-enactment is just to solidify their claim.

So my question is :

1) anyone encounter this issue as a buyer / seller before ?

If the disti refuse to replace this item

1) As a seller, what will you do ?

2) As a buyer, what is the least expected outcome you will compromise ?

I was thinking if the disti refuse to replace this unit, i will give the buyer a choice of gaming mouse from Logitech

Giving Away Books

Hi, i don't know what to do with my college years books and i have left them with dust and dirt accumulated on them because i can't find anyone to take them.
I just found about about LYN books club so i hope there are takers here. I will wrap, clean, and rebind the books (if necessary) before passing to you.

I prefer to deliver the books by hand within Klang Valley (actually, Klang, Subang and PJ only). If i have to post them, and the price is below RM 10, then i am gladly to do it for free.

I will update the books status and gradually post new ones because i am not a good thread starter person. If i don't reply you here, please pm me.
