Problem with electricity after change name

I bought a house in USJ 6 and the purchase process just finished recently. 1 day before i get the house key, the previous owner went to TNB to terminate their account, so the day i get the key delivered, i went to register a new account with TNB under my name. Now, up until last saturday i went to the house to do some measuring, the electricity still running fine. but yesterday when i went again, the whole house no electricity. this morning i called TNB and they sent technician come. The technician said there's no problem with the meter. At that time i was not around the house so i arrange to have them come again at night. 2nd time they check my main switch and they also say there's nothing wrong from TNB side, just 1 thing when they try to switch on 1 lamp, it just flicker on and off (like there's not enough electricity going) and when i try to on another switch, the lamp will off altogether.. (but the breaker stays on). The technician suggested that there's something wrong with the wiring and asked me to contact wireman.

Any forumer have knowledge about this kind of problem? Any suggestion on what's wrong?
