I recently upgraded my system with 980Ti and Z97 Gaming 5 mobo.

Full system now is:

Proc: i5 4570
Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 5 (before this Asus B85M-G)
Ram: 8GB 1600mhz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX980Ti Xtreme Gaming (before this Sapphire R9 290 tri-x)
PSU: Forgot brand but 750 watt
Monitor: Forgot brand, but been using it before and after the upgrade, same monitor

So my problem is before the upgrade, I can gaming in 1440p specifically in Tomb Raider (2013) with 30-40fps all maximum setting.

After the upgrade, all resolution for games is set to 1080p including the Tomb Raider game and the option to increase to 1440p is gone.

What gives? I suspect there's a bottleneck and I'm not really a pro to identify it

Hai guys. I want options for a great 32" or 40" LCD LED TV.

The TV will be mainly used for PS3, PS4 and PC.

My budget is RM1500 maximum.

okay.. since im fairly new, i want some recommendation on what shud i get for a gaming mouse..

im the sniper of my team. some say itali@italy mouse is good for snipers (regardles of what title of the fps)

what i need is links, so i can check the brand out before i buy it.

all this while im playing with stock mouse lol (@cc) with default configuration+sensitivity of 12@14

i had enuf of slow respond time when playing cod4 lol (since im a fast swap & quickscope practitioner).

oh u guys could also suggest me what type of mouse pad or keyboard for me to buy, specifically for snipers..

Hey hey fellow cod-ers. I'm here to info that we still need more recruits

Overall:
- The team will be put under the cybercafe Cyphernet located in Section 7, Shah Alam
- Our prime aim is to join any tournaments available (and win! of course)
- Regular friendly scrim (yet to be arranged)

As for the requirement to join our teams:

- Commitment & Command (ready to go training anytime when asked/called, excel in handling/receiving commands)
- Friendly attitude is a must (not an emo. any emo will be shoot on sight, lol)
- Preferably staying near Shah Alam (as most of us staying here)
- Preferably have experience in FPS-type games
- Creative (in a way of giving ideas and strategies. anybody with full of ideas is most welcomed)
- Willing to study (yeap thats right, we're still new, we're going to study the fricking maps lol)
- Has own transport is a must

WinAMP keeps crashing

my lil sis was using my pc. w/o me noticing she downloading a plugin for winamp which contains a trojan (according to her) after she install the plugin, my WinAMP keeps crashing when opened. im using AVG Free Edition with virus db 270.8.1/1729. full scanned the pc and found no the trojan that caused it.

i want to know which mounting program (ie alcohol 120%) that are compatible with vista. anyone?

last time i installed an outdated version of alcohol (1.9.2.1705) and it gives me problems. the latest version Alcohol 1.9.7.6221 <- idk if this compatible with vista or not.. but then i refuse to dload and use it bcause afraid of getting bsod again.

any other program suggestion?

my problem occurs while playing WoW. i play WoW in windowed size (multitasking between working and gaming lol)

when i alt+tab back to my WoW window, suddenly my screen starts to flicker, and everything froze. then the screen flickers some more and the i notice a slight changes within my WoW graphic, and my desktop is messed up too (more like out of proportion) more flicker coming, and i decide to hit the restart pc button.

after restarting, my desktop failed to work normally, and its messed up too like last time, also has a lot of vertical lines (i want to post ss here but im using another pc..) also from that point, im starting to get the BSOD (blue screen of death, cant post the error here bcause using another pc!) whenever im not restarting the pc in safe mode.

i opened the device manager, and notice theres a (?) at my vga tab, or something like that.

i think my graphic card broke lol.

any other thoughts?
