greetings guys,

i'm having a prob here... u c, i've blown 2 PSU's recently in 3 months. 1 is ACBEL ipower 660 - sent back for RMA, thank god lifetime warranty, another 1 i bought for temp use Silverstone 400W. both switching power supply.

I'm thinkin d problem is wit d acrylic casing, i dunno y la, maybe coz no grounding??? juz now i took back my Silverstone PSU, juz bought 2 weeks ago n thankfully d guy gave me a new 1 as replacement.

The problems started like tis, each time i switch on d outlet, then wen i switch on the 1/0 switch at the back of the PSU, i get a short "bzzzz" sound... My ACBEL PSU had d same prob n after 3 months, blows... My Silverstone... same prob, after 2 weeks blows...

My ACBEL comes back nex week n i'm really hoping to solve tis prob so that i dun blow it again... should i ground d casing? if yes, how 2? any u guys using Acrylic casing having tis prob? or maybe d prob is sumtin else???

By the way, i juz bought a voltage regulator n hope tis solves d prob. To soon to tell though.

Guys out ter, please help man, i'm goin nuts here...

Thanks a million for ur help... god bless
