buying an affordable electric piano keyboard

Hey guys,

Just wanted to get some opinions on getting a good piano synthesizer that is mobile and hardy.

I'm pretty new to electric piano keyboards (only had an old antique piano at home XP) so I dunno much about brands. Heard only about Yamaha, Casio, Korg.

Any models and shops that i should consider to get a reasonable bargain?

budget is about 2K for now...... wonder if its enough?
