Hi Sifu,
Noobie here, this is my old budget rig:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
Mobo: ASUS M4A77TD
RAM: 6GB DDR3
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (how do i check the exact model?)

I know everything is old by today's standard, but whats the bottleneck from letting me getting better FPS in Tree Of Savior game? Can I buy a newer but affordable GPU to gain more performance boost?
Not looking to break the bank to get the latest n greatest graphic card, but something that worth the performance gain n value for money. Also, what kind of GPU card is supported by my mobo?
for this My budget is below RM300-600 i guess..

or should i just forget it and im better of saving money to buy a total new i7 system?
Any ideas?

- Doing normal work like preparing reports in ms office

Ever since the IAS nerf in 1.0.3, many of us are busy respec-ing our gear and are in doubt what to look for in order to maximize our DPS without spending too much money.

If you're facing the same dilema, perhaps u can use this calculator that I quickly made the other day:

My friend is buying a new PC because her laptop is broken now..

Budget: around 2k but can topup more if needed. (excluding monitor, as she'll also be spending around rm600 for a decent led monitor)
Purpose: Watch HD movies, browse youtube, programming work (visual studio & java IDE), casual gaming

Requirements:
- Decent CPU & RAM for multitasking
- Decent but not hardcore GC
- no OC
- Value for money!

Accessing checkbox inside a html table loop

Hey guys,
I have a lil noob question about asp.net

So i have this table with checkbox for each row:

table code inside the ASPX page:

So I'm trying to implement the delete selected button..
How exactly do i point to the specific checkbox for a particular row from codebehind when all 3 have the same name chkSelected?
I know how to do it with a gridview, but not quite sure how if we do it with a for loop..

Can I do something like this inside btnDelete_Click?

Advice On PC Upgrade

Hey thar! First of all, I'm just a casual PC gamer cuz I've been playing games on my xbox360 & ps3 (and iphone, if that counts)..
However Starcraft 2 is coming very soon which left me no choice but to upgrade! :-s

This is my specs:

Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Mobo: Gigabyte 965P-DS3
RAM: 2GB HyperX PC6400 DDR800 CL4-4-4 (cost me RM1150 back then! geez)
GPU: 256MB Palit Geforce 7600GS OC DDR3 1000/400

Needless to say, i can only play current games on low / lowest settings ..
According to above specs, will it do any good if I just upgrade my graphic card?
Budget is around RM400.

Please advise.

2.5"/3.5" External harddisk

Usually I'll just copy over some movies into my thumbdrive and plug it into the usb port to play them on the xbox 360. But my thumbdrive is only 4gb so i think its kinda troublesome. So my question is can I do the same with a 500gb 2.5" external harddisk (I plan to buy one if its possible) instead of a thumbdrive?

Wireless G vs N

Hi..
I have bought a 2 story terrace house recently so I'm buying a router and a USB adapter soon.
The router would be at the downstairs but my PC will be in my room on the 2nd floor.

My questions are:

1) Are there any major improvements of wireless N compared to wireless G in term of speed and coverage distance as advertised? If so, does it justify its heftier price?
2) Is wireless G sufficient to cover my whole house? (2,278 sq. ft) Will I get very low signal strength on the 2nd floor?
3) Is wireless N a better option if I want to stream movies & other media from my PC to the PS3?
4) Can I use wireless G USB adapter with wireless N router?
5) Will the use USB adapter instead of wired connection effect my BT download speed?

I have a quick question here. In my database, i have 2 DateTime fields , startDate and endDate. Then i make one page with a calendar control. What i want is when a user click on a date (= selectedDate), the page will list all items if the date is in between their start and end date. How do i do that?

I've thought about using ;
