Android Engineer
Location: Seksyen 14, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

We are currently hiring extraordinary engineers who want to build and scale one of the fastest growing tech startups in Malaysia.

Who we want

MyTeksi <3 everything Mobile. We’re looking to grow the team responsible for building the next generation of taxi booking, dispatching & payment services. We’re in search of someone who loves product challenges like how to prioritize, design, and build a compelling product while maintaining simplicity and usability. Aside from strong Android technical skills, we also want someone who cares deeply about an app’s User Experience and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers in the creation of new and existing features.
• Must be able to work with an existing code base to add new features and improve overall code quality
• Craft and maintain world-class Android experiences.
• Implement beautiful mobile app user interfaces.
Android qualifications and desired skills
• Proficient with Java development and usage of Android-related services (e.g. GCM, Gradle, Proguard)
• Familiar with the application of the Model-View-Controller pattern to mobile application development
• Understands test-driven development and creation of automated tests on Android platform
• Familiar with Play Store publishing process
• Familiar with Git
• Ability to get things done in a small team.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization – plus.
• Being awesome and love MyTeksi products- a major plus!

We’re in search of passionate back-end Rails engineers, that can build up the core of MyTeksi. If you are interested in creating great products, building new features and improving the existing MyTeksi features, then take a moment and apply!

• Write back-end code in Ruby and JavaScript.
• Maintain and improve existing MyTeksi codes & supported applications
• Build report interfaces and data feeds.
• Use TDD to write rock-solid, beautiful code.
• Providing beautiful and fast code that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.
Qualifications and desired skills
• Highly proficient in Ruby and Ruby On Rails framework
• Familiar with Behaviour Driven Development and using RSpec and Cucumber
• Proficient in SQL and using RDBMS
• Proficient in Javascript/Coffeescript and developing RESTful interfaces with rich front-end applications
• Familiar with Git
• Knowledge of Redis is considered a plus

Please inform via PM if u mods deleted my post, and tell me why as well. It's annoying to find my thread suddenly disappears.
And i dont think my threads violated any of the garage sale's regulation. This pisses me off.
