I have a compaq v3000 notebook. I have this Mat s h i t a UJ-850S dvd ram drive. Last time it had problems.. could not read or write cdr so i sent it back to compaq and they replaced it. Now it happened again n is outside warranty. Googled this issue and found thousands of people having the same problem. One solution was to delete upper and lower filters in the registry.

However, this wont work for me because there are no filters in the registry. (Yes i checked properly). So I desperately need another solution. Thats why Im here in need of your help. Somebody please help me!

forgot to mention i tried to reinstall the device and so on. still nothing. same results.
