keyboard not detecting

hi my logitech g1 keyboard isn't working and i have no idea why.

it works on occasion but everytime i shutdown for the night it stops working the net day. this happened a few times now.

first time it stopped, i did a system restore and it worked for the day and died the next day after restarting.

2nd, i updated my mboard and same results. works till shut down.

any ideas?

gpu: ati x700xt
1gb ram
60gb + 150gb hdd
windows xp sp3

Liteon DVDRW problems!

Ok, I'm stumped.

I have a LITEON SOHW 1653S DVD-RW that doesn't seem to detect blank DVDs (-R, +R or even RW). I worked fine until about maybe a month ago when it stopped working. Whenever I pop in a blank DVD, the drive info (the one listed on the "My Computer" window) reads as "CD Drive". It works perfectly fine as a CD burner, CD reader and a DVD reader. It just refuses to burn DVDs (or even detect it). Help please.

ATI Radeon X700xt
Windows XP SP3
