Suggest me a daily motorcycle to go to work

Hello guys!

I'm in the market to buy my first ever motorcycle. I've mostly driven my car as a daily commute to work and I'm getting tired of the traffic jam. I drive daily from Cheras to Mont Kiara and the time spent being inside traffic can be up to 4 hours a day which is tiring.
I know how to drive a motorcycle (thanks to my dad's old Honda EX-5) and I have a B2 license. My budget is below 16k. I love classic style motorcycle, like cafe racer but my friends advised me to get a scooter instead as it is more convenient. Most say at first you'll enjoy but eventually you end up wanting something more simpler and easier to commute with like the Yamaha NVX. What are your thoughts on this?

So I've come up with a few models that I'm interested in:

Cafe Racer
1. GPX Gentleman 200
2. Benelli Leoncino 250

The Yamaha NVX has the advantage of storing a helmet or rainsuit under the seat if I ever need to use them. If other than that, where do you guys usually store them? Other than that, I prefer the other 3 models mostly because of the aesthetic.

Sorry I'm not much of a bike enthusiast so my knowledge of motorcycle is very low. If you have any suggestions please feel free to provide them!
