Why does Maxis dealer need to cheat?

Really bad experience I had, Maxis dealer at The Starling Mall Damansara Utama named Gentel Communications Sdn Bhd.

I wanted to sign up an iPhone Maxis plan, for peace of mind I wanted to sign it up directly with a Maxis Centre. I saw a Maxis store at the Starling Mall Damansara so I went in and enquire.

This Maxis dealer falsely claimed they are not a dealer, but instead is a Maxis Centre. Asked many time and being told they are Maxis Centre not a dealer, telling me stories that they have taken up the store used to be a dealer and Maxis website havent updated their status as Maxis Centre yet.

Better yet then they forced me to take up RM 299 for extended warranty, as this is mandatory for any iPhone purchase through Maxis Centre.

After being convinced and swiped my credit card, I couldnt get a receipt from Maxis. That was when dispute started, I questioned them why couldn’t I get a receipt from Maxis since they are Maxis Centre? That was when it was revealed that they were “Gentel Communications Sdn Bhd”, and when I started recording the video below.

Such a horrible experience being cheated on.

I have looked at Eco Santuary at Kota Kemuning, as well as Anggun 2 at Rawang. Still looking around with your recommendations!

Ever since I installed my Grundfos PM-3 water pump, my pipe has burst two times!
The fist time was more serious, the interconnect betweem pipes totally burst.
Now it happened again, however this time not so serious as it is just a small leakage from the pipe thats connected to my Grundfos water pump.

I have spent close to 1,000 ringgit just for the two repairs / installation services. Both plumber couldnt do a proper job.

Can anyone of you who have installed Grundfos water pump recommend me your plumber / installer who is reliable KNOWS how to properly install this pump?

How much needed for "necessary" only renovation?

Hi guys,
I will be getting to key to my house in 6 months time. It is a double storey house with built up 1800+ sqft.
Land size is 20x65.
As this is my first time purchasing a house, I have no experience at all on budgeting for the most basic renovation to move into this new house. Hope some of you who has experience might share with me the estimated costs / advice on what to renovate first.

Only me and my girlfriend will be moving into this new house for now, and we have allocated about 30 - 40k budget ( that's what we have in our bank now ).

We want to keep the cost to the minimum, but want to cover all the basic stuffs first (like flooring, painting, wiring etc) so that in the future when we have more money we can just add furniture easily ..... step by step lor.

Standard things that developer has for us:
1) floor tiles
2) plaster ceiling for ground floor
3) 3 air cond points
4) bathroom ready

Furnitures that we already have and plan to move to our new house:
1) Home theatre system
2) Bed and mattress
3) Living room sofa

What we plan to do:
1) laminated flooring ( ground floor only living area, and the whole of first floor) - estimated RM 5000?
2) Wiring and power points - how much is needed here?
3) kitchen cabinet and basic appliances - RM 7000 because we only have two person moving in dont need a big kitchen setup
4) Painting - Rm 1k?
5) lighting ( preferably LED) - how much needed?
6) wardrobe for master bedroom only - RM 3000?
7) Dining table and chairs - RM 3000 from IKEA
8) 3 units of airconds - RM 3000

Is 30-40k sufficient to be able to move in?

Hi anyone can share or intro me a contractor that provides screen and projector installation for my theater room? it is only a small room.
I haven't decided on who to buy the projector screen from. Preferably a wall fixed 16:9 screen, with over 100" diagonal size. Im looking for a screen+installation package if possible.

Hi , Im building a 5.1 home theater system. My budget is RM3.5k-4k MAX.
I will be using the setup 90% on movies, 10% on music or games only. So Im looking for a dynamic sounding speakers!

With my budget, I already narrow down to the Yamaha RX-V373 , or maybe V473 receiver. So i still have about 2k-2.5k to spend on the speakers+subwoofer.

Here are some of the proposed setup from the salesman:
