looking for Scanner & Fax 'all in one'

I've been looking for

1. Scanner (main purpose is paper scanning everyday, for office usage, durable, not expensive, RM450 below, has good ratings/review, easy to operate, fast scanspeed)

2. Fax 'all in one' (for office use, low cost per page, easy to find toner/ink, has flatbed and Auto Document Feeder tray, only need monochrome color, easy set-up and low cost maintenance)

fax will be placed inside office room while scanner is placed outside the office room for staff. Kindly advise me on this. Thanks.

Computer start sluggish

As topic has stated. My computer has been acting weird and sluggish since this few days.

First that i have notice is the booting time of window. The bars keep running for almost 1 min in the win XP boot screen.
Then when the desktop are on startup, everything just seem sluggish and even opening 'My Computer' seem to take minutes.

What can i do to identify what's wrong with my computer?

Edit/1 = 20/3/09

My Comp spec as
AM2 6000
2GB RAM
250GB HDD

Usage since to date is typically standard. Surf net, play game, check mail, download song. Did not install anything heavy since last week.

Desktop is clean, 5 launcher and 2 folder.
Start up program only AVG Anti Virus and Ad-Adware

The slowdown is since yest morning 19/3/09. Happen all of a sudden.

Noticeable changes is

Boot time of Window = approx 10mins
Launching program took longer than usual such as clicking Start' took 10sec to load, 'All program' took 10sec. But it run on usual rate(1sec) when i launch the same thing the 2nd time. Clicking 'Start' return to 1sec after it's being launch the 1st time.

Some extra thing are ChkDsk are noticeable slow in verifying index(stage 2). Smart Defrag took 1 whole night to complete. Program/Software start to run at usual rate after i launch them the 1st time.

Yesterdau night i did
run AVG Anti Virus
Ad-Adware
Smart Defrag(1 whole night)
Ccleaner
ChkDsk

Result = same as before. Will post more to show u guys what's wrong with my pc.

Regards and thanks
