i'm a local university degree graduate in construction related profession, i've been working for 6 months and now am looking for a job in the UK, coz just want to broad my experience and thats an interesting country with interesting salary(if i do save). but since what i learnt from our local university could be very different from uk, i wonder where and how should i start hunting for a job there? anyone has same experience pls give some suggestions? (some ppl just try to go overseas and work thats the life we're looking for pls dont criticise)

laptop wireless connection stuck

im using acer laptop with internal intel® pro/wireless 394ABG network connection. My laptop is 3 years old and i didn't use the wireless before until lately we change the streamyx modem to wireless modem. so my problem is that the wireless connection will stuck after a few minutes of connection and no response when i click the wireless icon and the wireless LED light on laptop goes off. Everytime i have to restart my laptop in order to get connection again the modem is fine and new, the connection is ok, work on other computers so i'm sure its my laptop wireless problem. Could please someone tell me how to solve the problem? its desperate coz i can barely online.

my notebook -acer aspire 5550, using BTP-B2J1 Li-Ion Battery Pack. the exact battery life is around 2 hours. i've been using this notebook for nearly 2 years. now i get around 30 minutes(less than this actually) after a fresh charge.....what should i do with this short-life battery? change a new one? i'd like to get a battery which can last 4-5 hours, is that possible?

so i checked from this yahoo website http://asia.mobile.yahoo.com/ . theres a sms service which i can send sms from yahoo messenger to mobile. but every contact number(celcom & maxis) i tried it said not supported service. and i did put country code +60.
and now i wonder does it really support sms service over yahoo messeger for celcom & maxis users?

Is there any possible to get one external dvd writer under RM200. dont ask me what brand or what speed i need i have no idea about this i just want something which i can burn all my movies and datas into dvd. so please advice. thanks in advance

I need to build a model for an amusement park. what tools and materials are useful? is it possible to make a roller coaster with paper?
i have no idea how to start now. i need some suggestions on the method to make all the models for the games such as roller coaster, carousel, slides, surf pool etc.
I heard there is a shop in Kelana jaya selling all the art stuff. does it sell any useful materials for building a theme park model?

I need to buy oil paint!!!!! I am not an artist and i dont know art but i just need to complete an oil painting. and i only need cheap oil paint, no professional kind of oil paints.......i heard there is a brand called "morie's", is that oil paint???
I know i can buy tools from nanyang and venus in petaling street. but i've got no time to shop there. anyone knows where else can i buy it? in pj ss2, midvalley, sunway, cheras leisure mall,batu 9 cheras. these r the place im going to visit these days.
