Hi all, dunno whether this is the place to post but IT is abt networking...
i am a regular WoW player and recently i just moved place from cheras to setapak and got back online, and for my WTF luck, i'm at a place with onli 60.50/60.52 ips....so i wanna ask all the networking gurus out there....are there anything i can do to help lower my latency? (800-1k max , normal is 1.5-2k latency, freq dc )
done all port forwarding, configure my firewall and bla bla...and it ain't helping...

will connecting to free proxy servers helps?? me noobie

Hi all gurus, i'm currently doing a new project as stated on the title between sql server ce 3.0 and borland interbase 2007 using asp.net 2.0 webservice... ok now, i'm asking for architecture opinions on how to do this as i have all the relevant source codes on doing this, the only problem is the design of the whole architecture of this project. Ex:

1. What do i need to focus more on? Conflicts? Security? Integrity? And What practices to use to do these?

2. Any tactics for tackling conflicts and database integrity?

The reason for this project is because one of my company's client wanted to implement offline application tat my company has developed, but he doesn't want to get the license for sql server 2005 as he already bought license for the borland interbase 2007.

Upon hearing that, he stopped swinging his watch and when he tried to put back his watch, he accidentally drop it and it shattered into hundreds of pieces. "OH SH*T!!" he shouted

After the show, the bar owner spent 2 weeks to clean up the bar.

dunno whether this is a repost of not...but here goes

one day there's a man named ah chong who's just lost everything. Having with wat money he had on him, he went and tried his luck in Genting's casino, but alas he lost those 2 and got no money to go down genting. So he approach a taxi driver near by and beg the taxi driver to drive him back to his hometown and say his parents will pay for him when they reach. the taxi driver took a good look at him and told ah chong to beat it and no freaking where he's going to trust a beggar.
Frustrated ah chong walked all the way back to his parents, and his parents pitied him and give him some money. Thus he tried to regain all he lost. with the will of steel, ah chong managed to regain wat he lost and become a millionaire. one day, back from a business trip, he decided to take the taxi instead of asking his chefeur to fetch him. to his suprise he saw the rude taxi drive that shooed him away ages ago, were at the end of the taxi stand with few taxis queueing in front of him. ah chong tot hard on how to take revenge on this taxi driver. then ah chong went to the 1st taxi and told the taxi driver that he'll give him RM500 if the taxi driver will fetch him home and give him a blowjob. the taxi driver shooed him away. Then ah chong went to the second taxi and asked the same thing and the taxi driver 2 shooed him away. he repeated tat till he reach the rude taxi driver's taxi. he asked the taxi driver to just drive him home. And when ah chong went pass other taxi drivers he showed them this

hi, i would like to ask .net gurus here about how to develop window service that automates notify emails to certain ppl. The scenario is basically like this, a task (email regarding the task) is sent to a task owner and he will need to reply that email to the email server, and for certain period of time if he din reply the email, the server will issue again the task email to the task owner, and if for certain period of time he haven reply it, the server will automatically send the email to higher level ppl. i have searched lots of programs regarding this but most of them are closed source programs, so not to be greedy, i just wanna noe how do the service detect the due time ? thx

hi, currently i was given a project which is about customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Mobile for a particular company. i would like to ask any1 here has some experience on installing the mobile version and running on the emulator provided by Microsoft's Window Mobile 5 Sdk, bcos i'm having trouble running it. i have been searching for solutions in microsoft's solution communities and without much help. if u do have and succeed in running this software, can u explain to me wat did u do step by step???
