Sifu and 20k income k/tard

wanna ask advise and your knowledge.

my previous habit is to settle my CC in that current month. However this month my budget is a little bit off. Hence i want to know, what will happen if i take the option of "minimum payment?". Looks like its a temporary relief, im estimating i can only clear it within 1-2 months this time around.

What i know is:

Dear /k ,

Recently got a job offer to work in Dubai, IT based company. Sudah go thru 3 interview process using skype and zoom.

they put the offer on the table, however after much calculations, i think its abit too low. hence i counter and put my expected salary. The headhunter find it difficult to meet the expected salary, hence sending me to dubai to meet with CEO n discussed about it.

got my flight ticket already. going to dubai for negotiation soon.

my questions and need your guys opinion now is

1. What is comfortable salary there in dubai? from my research everything is super expensive there. House allowance given is $1000, however most apartment near the city center is around 1200-1400 USD. Any suggestion for place to stay? I prefer nearby city center coz u cant drive in dubai unless u have UAE driving licence.

2. lets say X is salary. what is the most common offer in dubai? i heard on average the salary in dubai must be 3X for one to live comfortably.

3. Is dubai good place to stay n work for? or ill endup like ppl working in singaproe like a robot?

4. what is other factor i need to consider before going there?

i share with u guys my draft calculation based on chatting with friends working over there and posting in dubai group

5. Food is roughly $USD400 / month
6. Internet at home is $USD80 / month
7. Mobilephone line is $USD70/month intesalat

wanna ask /k expert, i've been eyeing for ipad mini for quite some time, during the launch, i think its really overprice and wait for the right moment.

now i believe its the time, the ipad mini 2 cost

1,130 utk 32gb + WIFI
1,579 utk 32gb + wifi + cellular

which i think , its not a bad price for an apple products. Plus ipad mini 4 is not really worth the tag price for just a little increment (hardcore ifags dont bash me for this statement)

1. Should i buy the ipad mini 2 now? or its to obsolete? (just wanna use for simple apps, emails and connect to phantom 3)

2. Thinking to opt for Wifi + cellular, can the cellular version support 4G LTE? (coz i aim to get webe for the data plan, RM10 -20gb is good enuff to use) - or i shall go for WIFI version, coz nowdays, wifi is everywhere and i can save 400+ ?

"I ordered the traffic police to accompany the hearse when it arrived in Juru all the way to his house at Jalan Utama, on the day he passed away.

Two officers and 20 traffic police were also stationed there (Karpal Singh's residence) to direct traffic and maintain public order," he said.

He was speaking to reporters after launching the Blood Donation Campaign in conjunction with the 207th Police Day celebrations at the Penang police headquarters on Tuesday.

It was reported in a local newspaper that the state government had hit out at the police for failing to turn up as planned to control the massive crowd gathered at Dewan Sri Pinang to pay their last respects to Karpal Singh on Sunday.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng was quoted as saying that the state government would conduct a post-mortem to determine the reasons for the failure of the police to turn up.

Abdul Rahim said two officers and acting state Public Order and Traffic police chief DSP Abdul Rahim Md Din had also attended a meeting with the state government to discuss the final funeral procession route.

He said two officers and 20 traffic personnel were stationed on Sunday during Karpal Singh's funeral procession to the Batu Gantung Crematorium and more than 10 plain clothes policemen were on duty throughout the time people paid their last respect at the Dewan Sri Pinang.

Abdul Rahim said the traffic police were stationed at every junction along the funeral procession until it reached the crematorium namely, Lebuh Farquhar, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, Jalan Larut, Jalan Burma, Jalan Perak, Jalan Macalister, Jalan Residensi, Jalan Utama and Jalan Scotland.

"The traffic flow was smooth throughout the funeral procession and there were no bad congestion.

“And so far we have not received any reports about any disturbances or incidents either.

"So I don't understand why the state government is saying the police were not on duty, that's not true. We have photographs to prove it, that the police did their duty to the public," he said.

Karpal Singh, 74, and his personal assistant Michael Cornelius, 39, died in an accident about 1.10am at KM306.1 of the North-South Highway near Gua Tempurung, Kampar last Thursday. - Bernama

I need some recommendation from sifu-sifu at lowyat esp in /k. i check at mobile computing n tablet section. but nothing la there, not much help or update. So i come here. Now is the question, recently esp in this month. there are alot of Windows 8.1 tablet coming out, using the new Intel Atom Quad-core processors (which i found online benchmark show at certain test, it can run on par with old i3 series). However which of the following is the best yeah?

my requirement is:

1. Tablet using Windows 8.1
2. Intel Atom quad-core processor.
3. Must have docking (either bundle up or need to buy separate also ok).
4. Budget below 1.5k

of coz if got 3G slot would be great, and GPS as well. is there any tablet that cover all this criteria?
