Hi guys

I need help with my PC. Am currently using windows 7 Professional on WD 640AAKS while the other WD640AACS im using it as a spare storage for others. Currently, after installing and using Wins 7 Pro for a month, 1 by 1 softwares are starting to come out errors.

This are the list of errors..Please help me out:(

- Office 2007 hangs when trying to save file
- Windows live messenger hangs when going video call but able to repair it and its fine
- Games such as Blur, Batman, Assasins Creed keeps getting file corruption error but when shared to another pc with windows xp, theres no problem at all.
- Skype after installing for a week gets into corrupted error.
- When restart PC, keeps getting back default settings

When im using windows xp, none of this error came out. Do help out. Let me know if needed anymore information.

H guys

Anyone here has the new PI series from Gskill ? Bought myself a kit of 2x2 just before Feb 2010 and i OCed it to 1140mhz. The problem is the bios is showing 1140mhz but CPU-Z (1.53.1) and Everest Ultimate v5.30 both are showing at 1260mhz?

So, which one is the real one and how do i correct it to ensure for an exact reading.

Recently, i had my intel proc RMA back and got it before CNY. Yet the problem remains the same. My RAM from crucial turns into Gskill. Yet still the same.

Let me tell you how it happens

When i had my Gskill delivered to me, it was working fine but cant OC and when OC above 3 or lucky 3.1, volt is around 1.38. So, i remain by playing the RAM itself

Now, after awhile the whole screen starts coming bluescreen way too often as in like once enter into windows, it BSOD. Never manage to debug since then and what i can only do is check the main source and RMA soon.

Help out forumers.

P5Q DLX
4X1 GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer 1066

Previously, i had my mobo being blasted by lightning and had to RMA. Now, the rma mobo is back and i upgraded the bios from 1004 to 2005 cause previous bios(1004) cant OC even at minor like 350mhz. So, upgraded to 2005, it seems the problem remains the same as previous version 1004. I wanted to use the first bios for my mobo which is 0803 but not available in Asus website

Any idea hw to solve this problem and have my rig OC for performance? Helps are appreciated.

startup slow before windows loading

hey guys

Need advice, im currently using P5Q DLX and was being lightning strike a couple of weeks ago. Got a new from RMA and when it starts by showing the "AI STYLE" logo, it loads pretty slow but able to go into windows. My previous P5Q DLX mobo was quick but this one just slows there. Previous mobo was using bios 0803 n this one is using 1004.

Second of all, it does not keep my details. The last time i disabled one of the functions, it reloads back after i total power shutdown by pulling of the main power socket during lightning strike (dont wanna get rma again). And best of all, difficulty in overclocking. Each time i overclock even a mild ones like 3.2ghz(q9550), it doesnt load at all.

Does it hv anything to do with bios and if it does, could any of you give me a guideline in flashing bios to the latest ?
