AstraZeneca Side Effects

Had my second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine four days ago. Didn’t have any side effects compared to my first dose when I suffered from vertigo (room looking like it is swirling around), dizziness and loss of balance, with slight fever of 37.7°C.

Anybody else had a similar experience?

Went for my appointment at the IDCC (Ideal Convention Center) in Shah Alam on 18 June 2021. Place was well organised and a pleasant experience. Free parking on the 6th floor. Process took about an hour

After the first day, my dizziness, nausea and vertigo got worse after the AstraZeneca jab. Went to see my General Practicioner to get it treated. Sigh. Guess I’m one of the rare cases to get this reaction. Some are lucky without any side effects at all!

Anyone can recommend a reasonably priced slide scanner and the retail shop? I was recommended a Canoscan 9000F Mk II, costing RM1140. Prefer one below RM500. Want to convert my old collection of colour slides to digital format to keep.

MyPad tablet from Taiwan

Friend of mine bought a 7 inch MyPad tablet made in Taiwan costing RM300 from SS14 Digital Mall. Had front and back cameras, Micro SD slot, single core processor running Ice Cream sandwich. Seems to be slightly laggy and charge on battery doesn't last more than 3 days on standby. Screen is Ok and plays videos quite well. Anyone has more information on this tablet? Worth buying?

PC Expo at Mid Valley Megamall

From Nov 2 - 4, there was a PC Expo at the convention center in Mid Valley. The crowd was shoulder to shoulder. What surprised me that there were some people pushing their baby strollers through the crowd. They could hardly make it though the crowd. Isn't that some kind of child abuse as their babies were practically at the butt end of the crowd there? Why bring children to these exhibitions? There were 4-5 year old kids too and imagine the kids at butt end level of people in front.
