Car Loan Guarantor Question

Hi, I am planning to make my first auto loan and I heard most banks don't really risk "clean slate" loan record like me since I don't use credit cards nor have made any loans before.

This comes to the conclusion that I may need to get a family member to be my loan guarantor.

My question is that, what if my guarantor is in East Malaysia? What is the procedure involve for them to sign the agreement if the loan got approved?

Probabable bank in question is CIMB/Maybank for used car purchase, loan is around 50k-60k and my income is within 3k if these info help.
