( must have the ability to support HD-DTS, and also up-sampling from component, s-video to 1080p.. budgeting around 3k but if can get better SQ and PQ really don&amp;#39;t mind forking out a little bit more if its worth the &amp;#036;&amp;#036;&amp;#036;&amp;#036;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;--best of 3k range&lt;br /&gt;--best of 4k range&lt;br /&gt;--bets of 5k range&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i am shortlisting Denon, Yamaha, Pioneer and Onkyo ( the Sei Tai Tien Wong)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;my preference must also include quality audio as i have a dedicated CD Player and a Dvico to play lossless Flac &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also is it better to use the same speaker package, or mix and match, what i actually mean is, if i use a quality speaker for mains i am afraid, i am afraid it will not produce that good a sound quality as compared to a integrated ..... so it will be waste..... or is it....?????&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks, &lt;!--emo&amp;:)--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;</description>

            <description>Hi, I am new to this forum,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I too,.... am wondering....on a quest, as to go for a simple Multimedia player like Divico, WD HD or HTPC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) can a normal PC be loaded with the HTPC software, if can what&lt;br /&gt;software and version&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2) which is better Multimedia player or HTPC in terms of simplicity&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Video to LCD(which will be better)&lt;br /&gt;- up-conversion from normal DVD to 1080i/p&lt;br /&gt;- audio quality when routed to a HD-DTS amplifier&lt;br /&gt;- ease of use-- in terms of just switch ON, select and PLAY&lt;br /&gt;- browsing and selecting ot songs, movies, --- which is faster, and&lt;br /&gt;lagging or delay when selecting and play&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- in terms of support and future upgrade&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) for a starter from which is the recommended buy????&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4) most of all, for users that selected HTPC, or migrate from MediaPlayers&lt;br /&gt;to HTPC please also elaborate why,why &amp;amp; WHY&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope this request will benefit all that is half decided which to buy, as&lt;br /&gt;SORRY TO SAY, we learn from past users experiences and setbacks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;thank you very much,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;rgds</description>
