Finance switch to IT

After struggling for some time, I decided to make a post to seek advice.

Before I further my studies in finance (5 years ago), I thought that finance is all about math. No matter how bad my result was during secondary school, I managed to get "A" in Math all the time. I like math a lot and tend to have good feeling after solving math question.

Finance was not my first selection. I was always thinking that I will pursue my career in IT, because I am interested to be a software engineer. During secondary school time a lot of my friends call me IT expert because I possess better knowledge than them. I have basic knowledge to troubleshoot PC, assemble/dissemble PC, except networking and programming. I chose Finance was because I always have a mindset that my first selection is not a good choice.

I don't like to read lengthy word. I was having difficulty to study theory when I was in college. Rather, I like to solve math question no matter how hard it is.
I suffered a lot when I was preparing for final exam. During my college time I had many times thinking to give up my studies in Finance and switch to IT.

I had assignments in terms of research report and presentation. Most of the time I did it until late night.
What my main concern is,
1. When I was doing research report, I have no interest with it and tend to finish it earlier especially when I feel sleepy.
2. When I was doing presentation slides, no matter how tired I am, I tend to put more efforts with it because I was enjoying with it.
Some lecturers were impressed by my slides.
I even had spreadsheet and video editing assignment during my college time.
I can enjoy and contribute a lot of idea when I do something with computer, but not research and report writing.

I always think that I am a technical person, prefer to do something in technical way.

Now I'm 23 years old, graduated with finance degree. I just started my career in finance field 1 month ago (stock market related) which requires me to read financial news, especially company announcement from Bursa Malaysia. But I have less interest in reading financial news.

Here's the question,
Should I continue my finance career or start over with IT studies?
Is it too late for me to pursue my studies in IT? I have interest in programming. I feel like my 5 years time gonna be wasted if I start over again and might disappoint my parents.
I might think of getting a Diploma cert instead of degree cert. Does it enough to be software engineer?
I saw some IT graduates switch career to finance through CFA cert. Is there any Professional IT cert courses that open for non-IT graduates?
Deciding CFA or Account & Finance

I am fresh secondary graduate student. Planning to get related financial analyst course.

But, can I straight study the CFA courses without taking degree? Seems like a lot of people only study CFA after they graduated from degree.

What's the different between CFA and Account & Finance courses?

Does CFA need any qualification?

About PTPTN Loan

I'm a year 2010 SPM candidate which means I taking SPM exam now.

I'm planning to apply PTPTN Loan to continue my academic to Foundation or Diploma.

Before I have read the qualification to apply PTPTN. Like 3 months ago

I remembered the PTPTN site wrote:
At least 3 credit on any subject and a pass in BM for Diploma
At least 5 credit on any subject and a pass in BM for Foundation

But now,
I surf back the PTPTN website (http://www.ptptn.gov.my/web/guest/faq/pinjaman/am) and there's writing:
Lulus Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia(SPM) dengan sekurang-kurangnya 3 kepujian dalam mana-mana mata pelajaran termasuk Bahasa Melayu

Now they changed the qualification to BM have to get credit.
But I can't score my BM to credit. Normally just grade E only

I plan to get 5 credit on SPM in this year but BM is excluded.
And now, I have done my BM paper. Unable to return now.

Am I still able to apply PTPTN Loan without BM credit?

Is there any other loan that without qualification of Credit on BM?
I will unable to continue study if unable to apply any loan
