Calorie Counting

Anyone can provide some guide/Website on how much calorie on normal portion of food
such as:- no need very accurate but more or less. I am trying to learn how to count calories.

1 chicken drumstick
1 chicken wings
1 bowl of rice
1 bowl of mee (soup)
1 plate of mee goreng
1 plate of nasi lemak
300gm chicken meat
300 gm pork
1 can of soft drinks
1 glass of barley drink

calculating BMI is easy but monitoring the calorie intake seems so hard.
perhaps some diet guys here can provide some advice

otherwise, let say i need to dine on a 1800 calorie diet, what would be the recommended food for a day? ie 3 meals

Intend to convert some old VHS/VCR tapes into DVD format.

1) Any good recommendation for an USB Audio Video Device (preferably external device) in the market and wats the pricing?
2) Any opinion on device such as

a) K66 or
b) TIVO or
c) USB Blackmagic H.264
d) Dazzle Video Creator Platinum
e) WinTV

3) Which device should i choose for better video quality?
4) Any potential problems with video capturing? Such as signal mismatch etc.

i'm currently using the old package with the E220 huawei modem and is thinking to taking up the promo package of Rm68 which replaced the modem with a E1762 modem. Anyone knows if the advantages or disadvantages of the new modem? Such as whether the reception is better or worse? or is the speed better or worse?

Anyone heard about the current development of the Tambun Hot Spring & Spa Resort - SunwayCityIpoh?

From the looks of the site, the project seems to be completing soon. Anyone has any idea about the launching or any news of it?

Very eager to use the hot spring Last time before the development, i still remember we only had to pay RM5 for the use of the hot springs and natural sauna. Now with the resort, sure the ipoh ppl kena charge astronomical sum liao to use the hotspring. Hopefully they haf some special offer for ipoh ppl

Recently i heard that in KL... there is a supposedly recond toyota car company (supposedly by company under UMW group) using original parts to repair second hand cars...and resold ...with 1 yr warranty...Is it true?

ANyone heard about this Company? Where issit and wat is their contacts? Maybe interested to get one.

Looking at the current political scenario and its instability. What is the likelihood of MYR losing its ground and faces potential drop against major currencies? Has anyone ever thought about taking measures to protect their cash savings by diversifying into different instrument to protect their surplus cash during this period.

Would diversifying our placement of cash in MYR savings to the following be viable?

1) Foreign currency account (eg. USD, SGD, YEN, EURO, AUD, NZD, POUND, HKD, YUAN, RIYAL etc?)
- these account does not carry interest earning but offers fast / liquid position to change forex position

2) Foreign currency fixed deposit account
- these accounts offer potentially good FD interest rate return, but locks in the cash and thus affecting liquidity
and thus diallowing change of forex position in short-medium term

3) Gold investment account (PBB/MBB)
- these account offers locking in cash into gold position and insuring against drastic change in any particular
currency. However, is the gold commodity price currently in a moderately high position and with potentially
downward trend and thus not viable?

A basket of which options stated above would be best to preserve value in times of instability?

Any other options of instrument can be included in the basket for capital preservation?
