Please review my new PC build

Hi sifus here,

I'm planning to get a new pc mainly for work and maybe some light gaming. My previous pc build was 10 years ago, and keep getting bsod recently. I need some help to review my build, my budget and specs are below.
The engineering program that i'm using will need a minimum I7 processor to run. I dont fancy colorful RGB thing or OC, but like to keep an option for future upgrades, need a stable build.
Appreciate for your kind comments.

[Budget] 7k?
[Purpose] Work, light gaming, browsing
[Hardwares that will be re-use] 24" monitor, hdd, mouse/keyboard
[Monitor resolution] 1920x1080
[Games & softwares that use frequently] revit, autocad, 3d engineering software: tekla structural designer, prota, excel.
[Personal preferences] dont need RBG or OC, is my build win 11 compatible?

CPU: I7 12700k
Mobo: MSI GTX2060 Ventus GP OC
GPU: MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4
PSU: silverstone strider gold 80 750w (enough juice?)
RAM: 4x kingston D4 2666/3200 8gb (total 32GB, should be good for few years i think)
Cpu cooler: Cooler master hyper 212 evo v2 (liquid cooling any better than fan?)
ssd? nvme? m2? for boot OS and program storage (need help here)
will reuse my old 1TB WD HDD as secondary storage

Need help setup Samsung Galaxy Mini

My GF just bought samsung galaxy mini, our wifi router is on manual IP (for port forwarding..etc, instead of DHCP). The phone can't connect to my wifi network, only can connect when i set my network to dhcp.

My wifi router, Netgear wifi router WGR614v9, with 3 pc connecting the network with no problem.

Does anyone know how to setup to phone wifi using manual allocated IP ?

My budget to be max RM4500, but currently i think RM5000 already, need a build that can last me for next 5-6 years.

My questions

1. I have read that users have problem with their MSI P67A-GD55 (B3) mobo. Would it be better if change to other brand like Gigabyte? what are the difference in terms of quality?

2. My room is hot and dusty, should i get a good cpu cooler and casing like the above?

I cannot search with google/yahoo/msn after this malware alarm thing keep popping up, i think both my IE and firefox infected by this trojan, avira detects but cannot remove, 2 of my computers already infected. Anyone know how to solve this?

How to auto-ban IP ?

I am running filezilla ftp server on my computer. The purpose of my ftp server is to send files from school to my comp, only for personal use. Lately there are people trying to access my server, and they always try to enter with the Admin/Administrator account(which does not exist).

These bots can spend hours trying to login to an account which does not exist, anyway they are not posing high level threats but they are hogging my bandwidth, and some time i can't connect to my computer.

I had manually banned those ip which i do not recognize because Filezilla does not have a feature to auto-ban ip or kill a connection after X attempt, so i was wondering anyone know a program which can auto-ban IP(s) which are trying to connect to my computer.

PS: I'm running winxp and I have no background of programming skill

Is Tmnet FTP server working?

I have trouble accessing the /incoming folder in tmnet's ftp server (202.188.0.143 or ftp.tm.net.my).

I can login the server using dos or any ftp sofware, but when i request for the /incoming folder it just hang there until time out.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Modem Settings:
DHCP mode, ip from 192.168.1.2 ~ 192.168.1.5
Power: Full range

I have no problem surfing internet or file sharing with any 4 of my computers in the network.

Problems in Warcraft lan games and Bnet

1) I port forward 6112 udp & tcp to the host computer (game port set 6112) and my other computers can't see the game I created, in LAN. All comps ip range stated above. All comps Firewall OFF. Can't see game from any computer

2) How to host a Warcraft 3 game in Battlenet with 2 or more computers with my modem?

Please tell me what should I set for my routing table and filters. I think i miss out something important there.

How to connect audio cables with 1/4 phonejack?

I have 2 speakers left unuse since my Sony radio broken, I'm planning to use the 2 speakers with my pc but i have a problem connecting it. The speakers doesn't come with any connectors, just black and red wire(end of wire exposed).

All I need now is a phone jack attach to the end of the wires then I can connect it to the back of my pc, but I don't know how to attach a 1/4 inch stereo jack

Anyone has experience connecting audio cables to a 1/4 inch stereo phone jack, please help me..
