The only way to differentiate is to teardown the lightning connector itself (I have done it for you) and compare the Lightning PCB with verified online sources.

* The only authentic Apple Lightning connector PCB should look like http://i.imgur.com/G64P9U8.jpg or http://photos2.insidercdn.com/12.10.16-Lightning-1.jpg. No other forms or design of the PCB can be considered authentic.

* Original Foxconn cables will have unique barcodes on the packaging that matches the cable serial number. Fake Foxconn packaging will have the same barcode on all packaging regardless of the serial.

* https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204566 provided by Apple is not reliable anymore as most fake/counterfeit cables are able to copy the characteristics. This example I provided http://i.imgur.com/bEtWkDe.jpg have the same characteristics as the article but it's still a fake cable.

* If you think it's confirm original if it comes in retail packaging, you're wrong. The only way to confirm that it's original without looking at a chip teardown is buying it at RRP RM89.00 from an Apple Authorised Reseller such as Machines/Mac City. Terrible experience at Equine Autocare Sdn. Bhd.

I had 2 of my front tires replaced last week. Was looking for Goodyear Assurance Tripplemax, which resulted me in going to the nearest Goodyear dealer.

1. When doing alignment, the foreman tried to convince me to change my Camber nut, charging RM100 for it. Called a couple of contacts and found out this is a CON, paid for my tire immediately and left without doing alignment.
Did my alignment in another workshop nearby, and there was no need to perform any camber adjustment.

2. When I requested for the warranty program by Goodyear (Worry Free Assurance), the foreman had no idea what it was about. When I asked the clerk inside the office when making payment, she said the offer ended in December and refused to provide the warranty card.
I checked with the Goodyear website and found no expiry on the campaign. I contacted Goodyear via email, and Goodyear directed the shop to issue me the warranty card. I needed to make a 2nd trip to the workshop to retrieve the warranty card.

3. After returning from the workshop, my rims were dirty with the grease from the workshop/foreman's hands. This is just terrible as they did not bother to clean up my rims after dirtying it. From my experience from other workshop I visited, the foreman at least had the courtesy to give the rims a wipe and clean of the dirt before reinstalling them on the car.

4. Just checked my credit card statement just now and found out the shop double charged my card. Typically, benefit of a doubt shall be given. However, based on the terrible experience from the shop, I got a feeling that this was done on purpose.

Please avoid this tire shop at all cost.

Random Freezes in video and game

I'm getting random freezes and lags in games and videos.
The game will just freeze or lagg for about 5 secs and resumes on normal frame rates. Occasionally the whole game will crash back into desktop.
For video, it will just hang and Media Player Classic will crash randomly.

The spec of my computer is as my signature.
Games tested was L4D2, GTA IV, Arkham Asylum and GRiD.
Settings are at max @ 1680x1050 except for gta iv

The driver version i tried are
Catalyst 9.12
Catalyst 9.12 Hotfix
Catalyst 10.1 Beta

Tried putting to balance and optimal performance mode in 3d settings, nothing worked
Tried reverting back to stock clock speed to ensure it's not oc fault also.
