10 Surprising Uses For Aspirin
1.To remove perspiration stains from white T-shirts, dissolve two aspirins in half a cup of warm water and apply to the area of the fabric where the stain is. This should be left for a couple of hours before washing.

2.Has your hair ever gone yellow or green from chlorine in a swimming pool? This can be remedied very quickly by dissolving 8 aspirin tablets in a glass of water and rubbing the resulting liquid into your hair. Leave for about ten minutes and then rinse it out. Shampoo in the usual way.

3.First aid for pimples: Crush an aspirin tablet and add a little water to make a paste. Cover the pimple with this paste and after a few minutes rinse it off. The pimple will be less red and reduced in size. Aspirin is an astringent.

4.Drop a soluble aspirin tablet into the water before arranging cut flowers in a vase.
The Top 5 Best Video Game Graphics of 2007

These five games will set the new standard for the best looking games of 2007. Not only will these graphics bring innovation, they will take gaming to the next level

5. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
First up is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. There is no denying that the Call of Duty series is the best FPS shooter ever! Now comes COD4 and does it look so sweet. Get ready for a fast-pace action that will keep you glued to your monitor!

4. Mass Effect
Next is the most anticipated RPG from BioWare. Massive world, superb a.i., and the best graphics for a RPG to date! What more can you ask? Not much when you're talking about Mass Effect. The game uses the Unreal Engine 3 at its fullest. If you want eye popping candy graphics, this is the game for you!

3. BioShock
BioShock... need I to say more? Another game that using the Unreal Engine 3 but a heavily modified version. Hint, it is "heavily modified" which can only mean one thing, the game will look very very good! After playing the demo on my Xbox 360, I have never seen water effects so good.

2. Unreal Tournament 3
The best multiplayer online shooter ever! Now Epic comes out with Unreal Tournament 3 and does it look so good. The game uses Unreal Engine 3 and get this, from the Official Xbox Magazine, UT3 makes "Gears of War [look] ugly".

1. Crysis
That's right, Crysis is the best looking game of 2007! Crysis runs on the CryENGINE2, predecessor of the CryENGINE which was used for Far Cry. The CryENGINE2 uses Direct3D 10 framework of Windows Vista. Just look at those pictures, you can stop drooling and pick up your mouth.

so, how do u think?????
but the problem is..... none of the game here can support by my PC......

source from http://my.mmoabc.com/article/Michael/1626.html?login=no

Jurassic Park 4 Has Dinosaurs With Guns?

the JP4 logo is a fan-made design.
heheee......

By the way, the following is not fan-made

BloodyDisgusting reports that Universal Pictures has begun casting for Jurassic Park IV. Apparently the new film involves dinosaurs which have been outfitted with weapons by the US government (presumably for battle purposes). If this is true, than Universal should shut down production right now. It's one thing to expect such stupidity from the recent batch of direct-to-dvd sequels, but a big budget Spielberg produced sequel? Steven, please say it ain't so!
Why is it that most good movie franchises are ruined by ridiculous plot concepts? The studios seem to believe that the higher the number next to the movie title, the more ridiculous the story must become. I would think that Hollywood would look at the successful franchises and study them. There are reasons why the JAWS, Batman and Superman sequels were less successful (people want real, not slapstick). Sequels like Toy Story 2 and Aliens raise the bar.

Jurassic Park 4 will shoot in Kauai, Hawaii later this year. I wonder who's going to be directing this disaster? Last I heard, Jurassic Park III helmer Joe Johnston bowed out, even after Steven Spielberg publicly announced that he would direct it. Laura Dern was reportedly asked to return for the new film. No word on if any of the other stars will be featured in the fourth film. But what else are Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill doing these days?

more at http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/08/13/jurass...saurs-with-guns

however this will become a very interest movie even without gun..
may b..... i think so

15Gbps transfer rate for Wi-Fi

A research group from the Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC) at Georgia Tech has recently released a study demonstrating high-speed wireless data transfers at a staggering 15Gbps at a one meter range. The system is still in its infancy, as data rates drop off steeply with just a little added distance (10Gbps at two meters, 5Gbps at five meters), but the possibilities for speeds of this sort are promising. At 10Gbps, researches say you could download the entire DVD of Beaches to a cellphone in five seconds, although the ultra-high frequency 60GHz band used for transmission is unable to pass through human skin, creating line-of-sight issues which engineers have yet to unkink. The standard, which will be called 802.15.3C, will probably be used for Personal Access Networks, like content kiosks, where all data is swapped in direct line-of-sight. Plans for the future include lowering power consumption, increasing bandwidth, and downloading all nine seasons of the X-Files to a BlackBerry in one minute.

source from http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/22/researc...ti-gigabit-wifi

but only 1m........
is too short...........

flying car will be in market soon

Flying cars coming to a dealership near you!

A flying car resembling what the Jetsons drove could show up soon at a dealership near you.
Moller International, a company founded by a UC Davis professor devoted to developing a flying car, announced in a statement recently that it has begun production for its "Jetsons-like M200G Volantor, a small airborne, two passenger, saucer-shaped vehicle that is designed to take off and land vertically."

Flying an estimated 10 feet off the ground, which allows it to avoid regulation by the FAA, the M200G takes to the air with the help of eight Rotapower rotary engines.

According to the company, flight times, once airborne, could last between 45 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on the vehicle's speed. It's expected to zip through the air as fast as 50 mph, said Bruce Calkins, general manager of Moller International.

The car is designed to hold up to 250 pounds, including the driver and any cargo.

Because of its ability to fly vertically over obstacles on the ground such as rocks and water, Rob Enderle, a tech analyst with the Enderle Group, said the flying car could be used to avoid gridlock.

"This is a way to solve traffic backups," Enderle said. "Traffic management is one of the overall goals of a product like this."

But, he said, a market has to be created before a full-blown flying car can be sold effectively. The first step is demonstrating that the vehicle is reliable and does what it says it will do.

"It depends on who uses it first. The marketing of a product like this will make all the difference. If these things start popping up on TV and in movies, we may see the demand increase sooner rather than later," Enderle said.

Calkins said the M200G was designed as a recreational vehicle, but that its development will lead to future models that could be used during the morning commute. Until then, he's content to consider its uses in more relaxed settings.

"If somebody was on a yacht and wanted go over to the beach, they would just go down to the deck and get on the vehicle and fly just above the water and over rocks and land on the beach," Calkins said.

Not everyone wants to fly blindly into the future, however.

"There's a host of other regulatory issues," cautioned Paul Saffo, a Silicon Valley technology analyst. "They're the first company to go after this market, and it's a long, hard path, trying to sell a flying car."

Calkins said the company has 67 deposits for its products, which include other flying vehicles in addition to the M200G.

source http://technowirenews.blogspot.com/2007/07...rship-near.html

but when will it come to Malaysia?
Puchong here to PJ is very jam!!!!!!

and this is another generation

M400 Skycar
from http://www.21stcentury.co.uk/technology/mo...m400_skycar.asp
but i think this 1 wounldn't be so fast available in market.

"its price can approach that of a quality automobile ($60,000-$80,000)"
price is nice! cheaper than helicopter
Understanding Home Broadband Bandwidth

Your home broadband, typically ADSL or cable modem access, usually has a different speed for downloading and uploading respectively. Typically you will have a downlink speed in the range of 512 kbit/s up to 8 Mbit/s and an uplink speed substantially lower than that, often 128 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s. However, even when downloading things from the Internet, traffic flows in both directions, because the protocol that is used to transfer the data uses acknowledgments to make sure that the data has been transferred properly. Since your download speed is substantially higher than your upload speed, in a lot of cases you will not be able to use your full download speed if you are uploading data at the same time.

Your Internet service provider will often quote the speed of your home broadband as being "up to" a certain speed. There is a reason for that. Let's say you have a home broadband connection of up to 2 Mbit/s in download speed and up to 512 kbit/s in upload speed. Does this mean that you are always guaranteed to get that bandwidth for your transfers?

Definitely not! In fact, all Internet service providers sell much more bandwidth than they can actually deliver. If all the customers of a service provider would try to use their connection to download at the same time, the average bandwidth would be much lower than the maximum value given. In fact, it is not uncommon to sell 50 times more bandwidth than they can actually deliver.

Does this mean that they are tricking you? It certainly sounds so, but this is a practice that has been used a long time, even in telephony networks or cell phone networks. If everyone in the world tried to use their telephone at the same time, it simply would not work. But that just doesn't happen, most people only use the telephone occasionally.

The same thing applies to your home broadband. Most customers in your service providers network only use their home broadband occasionally. Some users fill up their broadband all the time, and there are those that rarely use it at all. But on average, the usage is quite low compared to the maximum possible. For instance, when you're surfing on a web site, you spend most of the time reading the pages. Also, most people only spend a fraction of their day in front of their computer at home.

If the service provider was going to guarantee that you could always get your maximum bandwidth, your home broadband would be much more expensive. The service provider would have to make sure that you had dedicated bandwidth for your usage only. This would be a waste, and cost much more than most people are willing to pay.

Instead, service providers carefully monitor the bandwidth usage in a network, to make sure that connections are not overloaded. Some low quality service providers will overload their connections more, and give you a lower average bandwidth.

Service providers also use the same over provisioning for business customers, but the "over provisioning factor" tends to be much lower. This is not surprising, because a business connection is used by many people so on average these connections will be more utilized than a home broadband connection. Furthermore, a business customer generally pays more for the same bandwidth, so the service provider can afford to give a higher quality to these customers.

By: Andy Wilkinson

more at http://www.123articleonline.com/article26709.html

so do u think TMnet is tricking you??

yes!! for me

Just like the buff combination of Superman and his best friend Krypto, it seems the super-kid we reported about may have a pet who can keep up with him.
Much like young Liam, along with the ridiculously buff Belgian Blue cattle, Wendy has a muscular mutation that results in extremely bulked muscles. This condition is known as myostatin related muscle hypertrophy, or more simply, double-muscle.
Through a two base-pair deletion in the whippet myostatin gene (MSTN), and a subsequent rejection of myostatin by muscle cells, Wendy has very fast muscle growth and repair, at levels where she has quickly grown up to hulking proportions.
The increased muscle mass, along with metabolism and extremely low levels of body fats, can translate to impressive super-feats, including marked increases in speed, agility and power.
As documented by quantitative assay, whippets with this mutation seem to be consistently superior in racing events to their "wild-type" counterparts.
As you may already be thinking, a dog with genetically documented and known super-speed? Clearly this does and will raise major ethical concern in terms of dog breeding, as it may also within humans as we continue to learn and master the workings of our own genome.
Double muscle is still a condition under recent scientific scrutiny and testing, only having be

more at http://actionnooz.com/ethics/meet-wendy-th...g-double-muscle

i think next time will b on human body.

World's thinnest laptop

Intel announced it will release a new laptop codenamed Intel mobile Metro notebook that's due to be released this year. And you should take a look at some design features such as, let's say the incredible height of 0.7 inches. Yes that's right it's almost as thin as a Motorola's RAZR (as the producer puts it), and it's light as a feather too with a weight of only 2.25 pounds. Actually the whole design of the laptop is really smooth as the professionals at Ziba Design gave Intel engineers a hand.

"It's like jewelry," - that's the vision of Ziba designers when it comes to this project. The case is made of magnesium and other materials that are meant to scream 'quality', but visual pleasure is not all.

Also we can expect a lot of the latest technologies to be present with this laptop. Technologies such as always-on internet connection, finger-print security checker, hard-drive security and the latest in computing technologies.

If all goes well Intel can use this fancy laptop to fortify its position on the mobile technology market and to attract new user groups such as females that will find it more appealing.

ya, is vr nice. nice design, nice color, nice size.......
i jst wonder, what will happen if i accidentally drop from my hand??? it is vr thin!!!!!!

The first 16.7 million color OLED display

c wat is this..?

After Samsung and Philips each announced last week the launch of new Active-matrix OLED displays, now it's Sony's time to buzz the market. While Samsung offers a resolution of 320 x 240 with a contrast of 10.000:1 and 262k colors that should last you for at least 50.000 hours, Philips has the same resolution but only 16k colors, thus making it less desirable.

But that doesn't matter now because Sony has outdone them all by revealing its 160 x 120 pixel flexible display that has exactly 16.7 million colors. Yes you heard that right, compare this to 256k or even 16k and you'll see Sony is miles away from the competition. There are downsides like the smaller resolution and the contrast of only 1.000:1 compared to 10.000:1 but it's nothing if you think that it's a flexible display and it's the world's first 24-bit OLED.

It seems Sony has the ball for now but as you see every week brings something new in the game, so stay tuned!

unbelievable!!!!
