As per title, I am calling all Malaysian Dayz players!!

My name is articshadow from the organization Team TrollCasting (www.facebook.com/trollcasting for more info about us), we are a streaming organization looking to set up some fun and interesting events for Dayz.

We are looking for people who are interested to maybe join us as we try to provide more fun and content to Dayz players. If we are able to obtain the proper support we will be renting a server for us Malaysians to play on (If anyone has any suggestions for server hosters, please do kindly let me know as well).

What we plan to do is, events such as 10 vs 10 take over cherno, or like 40 man FFA 1 life per person, last man standing receives a prize and stuff like that. We would really like to see if Malaysians would be interested in events such as this!!

Dota or HoN discussion

Hey guys,

I would just like to open a small discussion between these 2 similar games of DotA / Dota 2 & Heroes of Newerth (HoN). Please do not get me wrong as I am not trying to cause a war or flame each game.

I am currently a HoN player but as all of us did, I started from humble beginnings with the game of DotA. At that time, it seemed like the best game in the world and I was having an extraordinarily fun time playing the game, Nothing could beat it. But as time went on, I found out about HoN and decided to try it as it was portrayed as the "enhanced" version of DotA. I know a lot of DotA players hate HoN because they feel like it is a "copycat" game so to say and I do not disagree with that.

At this point in time, the DotA player base still greatly out numbers any other MOBA game in the industry. My question and the discussion I would like to have is why?

With Dota 2 coming out, I have also received a lot of negative feedback from DotA players about their reluctance to move on to Dota 2 as well. Why is this so? What is stopping you from trying a new game such as HoN or even to move on to Dota 2. Is it because of the unfamiliarity that the game brings or is it just because you do not like the game.

I would greatly appreciate it if I could receive some feedback from you guys about the following :

1. Would you try Heroes of Newerth or Dota 2?
2. What are some of the reasons that would make you reluctant to transition into a similar yet totally different game?
3. What could entice you or encourage you to try HoN or Dota 2? (Example, more events? noob friendly environment? etc...)

Problem with resolution

Hi there, im using a DELL original computer which i ordered online 2 years ago. last nite my graphics cards overclocked and died and i bought a new graphics card. the GTS 250. But since i am using the dell monitor which is of weird resolution at 1366x836 or something like that, not too sure the exact number. I cant play any of my games as the resolution my new graphics card provides are the standard 1024x800 and what not.

How can i fix this problem? will i have to buy an entirely new monitor or can i get a driver or software to allow my new graphics card to produce that resolution
