Lately my streamyx has been so bad that when i download a file it's 6kb per hour. that was really fun... watching my download get turned off a few times because of slow net.

Well this isnt the first time streamyx has slowed down. i think every year some under water cable is messed up.
So i did my research, for the same price i'm paying now. RM 99 / 1mb speed streamyx. I can get p1 wimax 2mb speed. Although i will have to pay deposit. also don't know if my area will have good connection or not.

I had 2 years contract with streamyx, which is complete now. so i dont think there will be a problem with streamyx disconnection. question is .. is it worth it? will p1 wimax be better?

15giga quota. i'm pretty sure we will exceed this limit somewhat. because my siblings and i use internet all the time. how bad will it get. how often do you guys exceed your limit?

Do you know other any company that gives wireless. Unify i think? is it better? plz share your info and experience.

I am a rappelz player, and it's been a few months (on and off, mostly on) that i have been lagging and dungeon parties just seem like a complete pain. I freeze up can hardly do anything. just sucks. frustrating. i can go on, but you get the idea.
I doubt it's my computer, toshiba (1 year old) 4giga ram etc etc. apparently i'm the only one in my guild who experiences this severe lag. ergh..
so i think it's not the servers. was wondering if anyone else is experiencing same problem. maybe it's streamyx?

any suggestions on what to do to lessen lag? except for the obvious like not going on dungeon party, or putting graphic on low. let me know plz. what game and how log have you had lag?

(i saw a guild named Malaysians, but now they seem to have disappear.)

lol. So far i've met a lot of people who use the word duh at the complete wrong timing. There isn't really a definition for the word, so it isn't their fault.

Feedburner is spamming my facebook profile

I don't know what to do anymore... I would have just deleted feedburner for all this trouble its just that.. i kinda have followers there now.. but my facebook profile pages has this message. I tried everything... nothing seems to work.

Hey ya all.

I've downloaded object dock a while ago, but i've still haven't managed to learn how to make two or more than two trays of object dock. I search the net high and low but haven't found anything on the topic. I mean.. don't anyone use objectdock for more than one tray? Or maybe i've searched for the wrong words or something... its called a tray right? hmmm.. well, help me out here.

Hey guys.
Here's the story.. I'm going out.. long trip, I thought i could use internet for my laptop while on the go. But the problem is I already have streamyx and university has wifi everywhere... i don't need celcom broadband. So i was thinking of renting a portable broadband for a month. I can't buy one.. i mean its a total waste if i do.

Problem number 1:
Does celcom or any other broadband plan work outside malaysia? I'm really not sure about this one.. its net.. so it should work anywhere... right???

problem number 2:
Does anyone know where i can RENT broadband for a month... maybe i could ask one of my friends to rent to me.. but they don't have streamyx or anything at home.. so i think better not. anyone know any place... i live in johor. If they can post it to me or something.. i don't mind either. And the trip is planned maybe... march.

How much do you think the price would be.. estimated price lah..

P/S: The idea of renting stuff doesn't work much, does it? i mean i haven't seen a video renting shop anywhere... its all buy or forget it.

Can't Connect to internet

Ok. I know this should be pretty easy but i just cant connect.

here's my story.

I have streamyX for some time now, its connected to the main desktop in our home, 24/7. I got myself a laptop from pc fair and i've been trying to connect to streamyx since, it should be easy, making a new network connection and i did. everything should be okay but after i connect and turn on my firefox, its like the computer isn't connected to streamyx at all. So i tried the Self installer cd, incase i did something wrong... well, its not working either. Now its worst.. its doesn't even connect, keeps coming out error. I don't know what's wrong.. i need to connect to the net soon. Maybe its proxy or something.. i'm no expert. but i've always managed to find my way.. lol. this is just frustrating.

I need something cleared out here.

We have Streamyx at home.. rm 99 per month so the speed would be 1.0 Mbps. So i'm thinking of getting a Wireless Broadband Router. What I want to know is that if I get a router for the two other laptops in home, does my desktop needs to be connected on wireless too? Or can it be connected to Streamyx as it is now, normally. Because if with a router the desktop too need to be connected to wireless that's going to cost more when i have to get the usb for wireless, the desktop doesnt have wireless connection.

Arghhh... help

Ok... i've been planning to get a laptop since.. er.. forever. (last year) Been saving penny and sens... but why???? why are laptops so expensive suddenly??

Last year, I remember clearly that Dell laptop was around rm1200. And not its rm2300++???????? what?? oh no you didn't. I have that money but the plan is to save money.

Ok. So i'm really into dell, one main reason is that dell is NOT crystalbright screen. almost all laptops are crystalbright, and i don't love them. I need a laptop that isn't killing my eyes, coz i'll write in the laptop, do homework on the laptop, read fiction ebooks on the laptop, play games on the laptop, watch movies.. (you get the idea, my entire life is on laptop) i need a eye-happy screen. so dell is good. (any other brands?) plus dell laptop has different colors.

But i don't need duo core, or fancy stuff, apparently can't find much of those. I just don't get why laptops are so expensive suddenly.. I'm planning to buy one this pc fair. i hesitate here again coz i've heard a lot that pc fair is like clearing stock. and i really cant afford a laptop that breaks down and has emotional mood swings. (only i can do that. ) so maybe i shouldnt buy a computer from pc fair. but pc fair does give a lot of goodies... hmmm.. I'm so confused... i need some advise please.

Xp windows life was so much easier. I had Freecorder to make my own mp3's. And another software (who's name escapes me.. mp3 suite or something) that allows me to edit mp3s to my heart's content. now i can't find either for vista. Freecorder toolbar is the only freecorder can be used for vista. but it bugs me. Can anyone recommend any good mp3 editors and recorders?

A person can never read too much, and the fact is clear that not many people like to read these days. So in order to encourage reading habits. I suggest a Book Club. For monthly books to review or for members to post in good book recommendation and etc. I'm not sure if there is any such thing yet in lowyat.

hey all. I got this skin condition and i would like your views and advise.

For as long as my teenage life i've had the worst.. okay.. not the worst but dreadful aches on my cheeks. So this year, i went to a doctor coz University students get free doctor's services but not free dermatoligists. So he gave me some sort of Antibiotics and been taking them since. its all good. its just that.. there's no more aches but my cheeks are still kinda red. Like i'm wearing uneven blusher all the time. (Which is weird for me, coz i've wore blusher maybe twice in my entire life)
So i need some advise.. i'm currently using Loreal cleanser (spot something, blue bottle, kinda new product) and neutrogena mosturizer. Should be using something else? should i be using scrub and toner and etc etc. Should i just give up and accept red cheeks. LOL. I'd really appreciate your advises or personal experiences if you could share em. thanks
