[ALERT]ASUS Xonar HDAV1.3 cannot support AD8066 op

I personally has an ASUS Xonar HDAV1.3, which i am thinking about swapping the stock LM4562 opamp for AD8066, which turns to be incompatible, you will get some distortion like sound during playback, especially when there are bass, it's very noticeable. I think that it is power related issue. Luckily that our dear forumer CALMSHOT lend me 3 AD8066 to test, so i would not have to pay for it. Other opamp which are confirmed compatible are OPA2227 and OPA2607. People who has ASUS Xonar HDAV who thinks of swapping to AD8066 over the stock, it WILL NOT WORK!!! please note.

Hello, I just changed an AD8066 opamp on my Xonar HDAV1.3, and there is some distortion like sound occuring when playing music. Need help from sifu there, or anyone has an AD8066 working on Xonar HDAV before. Does HDAV1.3 has enough power to drive the AD8066 Opamp?? cause the stock was LM4562, and it needs a minimum of 2.5v operationg voltage, and AD8066 needs a minimum of 5v, does the soundcard has enough power to drive it? or is just a faulty AD8066? have anyone else tried different opamp on HDAV1.3, please leave a comment. Thank you.

Problem solved, as ASUS Xonar HDAV1.3 does not have enough power to drive the AD8066 opamp which lead to distortion.

Recomendation for best Audio output Phone

I'm using a Triple Fi 10 now, but I need a phone which plays very good output to my Triple Fi 10 on the go. Any Recomendations?
