COMPAQ V3000 HDD to SSD

Need to clarify something from all the sifus here...

My wife have this HP COMPAQ V3000 that she had from her student days...
It is working OK...but sluggish...well it is an old laptop...
Been thinking about buying her new laptop but she say no need, she seldom use it anyway.
She just love that old laptop...

Was thinking about replacing the laptop HDD with SSD. Is it possible?
Any compatibility issue?
Anything to relook/rethink about replacing the HDD with SSD?
Does the BIOS will recognised it once the HDD replaced with SSD? Do I need to re-flash the BIOS? Is it possible to re-flash the BIOS?
And is it possible that the SSD is installed with Windows 10 and be used on the V3000 laptop? It currently run on Windows XP.
Will there be a driver issue?

Seen a DELL Latitude replace with the HDD with SSD and install with Windows makes me think about it.

I was running DBAN to wipe out my wife disk, it took more than 11 hours to complete 3 layer overwrite (120GB). Reaching 70% and unfortunately i switch off the wrong power source and the whole process kantoi in the middle.

Will it affect the disk? And will I be able to instal OS onto the disk after completing the wipe out?

I'm a 32 y.o. guy.
Unemployed for the last 8 months.
+-11 years experience in logistics and HSE.
Was a Sr Executive in a MNC company.

What should I do? To get a job?
Even a simpleton job.
Normal daily job would not hire me because...
I used to be a Sr Executive.
To do startup, I am broke.

Been to a few interviews, but not hired.

Fast forward 2 months of chatting and things...

I went to see her a few days ago and things works well...
We enjoy the company of each other and we totally having a good time.
I like this girl...OK, I fall for her...

She is not a stunner but she is a humble down to earth...
Very self dependent...and hard working...
She doesn't need anything from me, just me. She have her own car, her own bike (not buying a house yet because she haven't settled down)
We have a lot of things in common; sense of humour (she would laugh to all my jokes all night long until her stomach cramp), she involved in a lot of sports (swimmer, sprinter etc.), she loves sea (she's a reserve TLDM), a speed monster (she have 2 steady hand and good driving skills and high tolerance).

Now is the issue, I did asked her why not we have a steady relationship before we proceed to the next level...

REASON:
She don't want to be in a long relationship because based on her observation, long relationship doesn't guarantee a anything.
There are even people 10 years in a relationship ending up wed to other people. She want me to be able to be ready in 4/5 months...
She have been in relationship before and it is proven long period of relationship does not guarantee anything.
She did not want to put up hope in her parents mind before anything is established and she LOVES kid.

SO WHAT SAY U CUPID MASTER??

Should I proceed with this fast forward relationship?

I travelled 450km for a girl

She's a Thousand Miles Away

I am now "head over heel" over a girl which is happened to be a thousand miles away...
Know her during my work trip in Philippine, which happened to be somewhere a month ago.
Sent her a bouquet of flower and she seem very happy about it...

After a year not interested wooing a girl, I fall for this pretty young lady, she is technically 18 if you go by DOB and I am 30 this year...
Small frame, 5' 3" kind of my type...

The issue is that should I continue wooing this girl, she is young, just started college, staying in another country and not very accessible for any via internet communication. Living in a different cultural background. Very bubbly personality. Surrounded by her family member.
Taking her away from her circle would be a hurtful to do.

About me; I kind of disconnected from people around me even my family member, a very dull and serious kind of guy, stable job with a MNC company. However with the current pay I am serving nothing available in her area.

Within a few days, I had been googling law & regulation of marrying a Filipina and chances of getting a job abroad (maybe I am just desperate to settled down).

So, should I continue this madness...

Was flicking thru a car mag a few weeks ago and bump onto one of the ads on the mag on this 208.
Looks very nice and the price tag were ok for me....
I am a first timer car buyer and never had any experience in buying car...I am all born and breed in KL...no need a car...
But this 208 catch my eyes...

a few concern...

1. i got an extra after budget of 2k from my current income, whats the maximum level from this amount should i put on the installment, maintenance etc. ?
2. it is a conti car, any concern on the engine performance? adapting to Malaysia damp environment?
3. after sales service, does PEUGEOT have a good after sales services?
4. IS IT WORTH THE PRICE?

hope all the sifu's can advise me on this, so that i can do it properly...won't hurt my pocket and cause me headache...

Need some suggestion from all the sifu here becos i actually never ever used any .gif generator....which one is the bestest and free?

the specs seem so intimidating with an afforadble prices..
bought the V460 a year ago..it is gooding..
thinking about buying MBP 13" but now have to rethink the reason of a buying a laptop...
Win 7 Home Premium is still a gooding OS..totally a remaking of the W$ OSes..

Pretty sure buying this i5 Sandy Bridge machine..
