Description

Overview of the Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the performance of systems at our customer's plant within Malaysia, Singapore & Philippines.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver technical products and support to our customers by providing commissioning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting services.
In this position you will have the opportunity to :
�Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
�Contact and liaise with customer in all related technical related issues.
�Follow up reports and projects, services, breakdowns, installations and rebuilding.
�Support on upgrade sales activities.
�Ensure improvement services are carried out accordingly.
�Ensure that, Equipment and Spare parts claim are communicated accordingly.
�Commissioning of new installed based
�Provide training to customers
�Drive issue resolution for key accounts.

Qualifications
�Possess a 3 - 5 years experienced in any reputable company in the following industries:
- Food processing industry
- Engineering industry
�Knowledge of instrumentations & flow components eg. Pumps & Valves
�Possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Electronic
�Knowledge in PLC Programming eg Allen Bradley / Siemens
�Knowledge in SCADA system eg Wonderware
�Fluent in English and local language

User Interface Developer / Front End Developer
Responsibilities:
• Builds web and mobile user interfaces towards modern technologies.
• Incumbent will work with developers, and QA engineers throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure user interface integrity.
• Participate in project meetings

Requirements:
• Highly experienced with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including JQuery), Bootstrap, DNN skinning, WordPress skinning, and passion for Web 2.0 interactive technologies.
• Develop new user-facing features with responsive awareness.
• Skilled in at least one MV* Framework (Angular, Backbone, Ember, Reacts, etc), Bonus skills includes Mobile App development (hybrid or native).

• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Experience collaborating with offshore development resources is a plus.

• Setup and maintain test environment

• Develop test strategy, test plan, test cases and defect analysis
• Responsible for establishing standard procedures for manual and automated test execution
• Log test result, defects (in bug tracking tool) and track it to closure
• Prepare test summary reports
• Work closely with local/remote development team and follow through all testing packages to ensure high quality product releases and delivery
• Participate in project meetings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree/technical certification in Computer Science, Information System or equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience developing and implementing test scripts, and test cases
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of QA experiences in Software Testing
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Functional Testing Role
• Experience in scripting via SQL Server, Oracles and others DBMS.
• Experience in .Net and PHP for web testing
• Experience in manual testing and automated testing
• Experience in mobile applications testing
• Experience with Automation Testing and performance testing experience will be value added.
• Able to adapt to multi testing approach with Agile methodology

Setting up LAMP server

which i guess off Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP
I plan to use this server to host my website later which off very small scale. (Just information publishing site)

1. Can I just use my long abandoned Pentium 4 PC for this purposes?
2. Any recomendation for Linux? Heard a lot ppl recomended ubuntu. Is it good?
