CPU upgrade options

current cpu is phenom 8450. playing bf3 gets me around ~20 - 30 fps with 5850. PSU is 550w 80+ bronze.

Looking for upgrade from both amd and intel..gives me more choices.
Current options are 2500k and 1090T with 8gb (4x2) ram.
Need a mobo with pci that doesnt get in the way of dual slot 5850 since I use a Essense Xonar ST

How many fps am I expecting to get with in BF3 and Skyrim with either 2500k and 1090T ?

Get AMD's FX processors or wait till next year Q1?

As the title says, I've been planning to upgrade my pc already.
I've seen the benchmarks of both FX-8120 and FX-8150 but tbh, the price for the performance of FX-8150 dont fit, at least here in Taiwan. FX-8120 just pulls in so close behind 8150.

Anyway, should wait till Jan/Feb 2012 or get one this year end..~dec?

Also spare me the Intel recommendations. I am well aware of the fact that the high end Intel cpus still pulls far ahead of the FX processors.

Addition question:
I am looking for a mobo that can crossfire and having a legacy pci card (because i have a Xonar Essence ST not STX) that doesnt become completely useless when you crossfire.
the motherboard I have in mind is MSI990FXA-GD80.

Looks like I have too many false lan connections when my motherboard only has 1lan port. My home lan is connected to a dlink router via a modem.
How do I eliminate these false connections? I only found out recently. It wasnt like this before.
