Hi, i am a vinyl flooring installer and i am writing this post to share my expertise in fixing vinyl flooring for those who would like to DIY and also share my online tools (as to provide my installation services).

Tiles
Tile Brand: Floordepot
Tile Name: Prato Oak
Tile Origins: The name Prato originated from a city and commune in Tuscany Italy. The oaks grew there was harvested and hence the name Prato Oak or Prato’s oak.
Remarks: The reason i champion Floordepot's tiles because among all the floor brands (DB floor, Flexfloor, Rosa Rose - Common cheaper vinyl tiles) Floordepot have the most sophisticated wooden enbossed and most importantly, each tile print patterns has a back story that adds feel to the environment. (I am not any anyway affiliated with Floordepot.)

Notice the embossed wood grained patterns. Only Floordepot has such sophisticated patterns.

All tools are readily available for most households.
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Blade
- Roller

- 90 degree 25cm Length Stainless Steel L-Square Angle Ruler

- Wide Floor Surface Scraper

Prep works
The first and foremost task is to clean the floor thoroughly. Dusty floors may affect the quality of stickiness from floor to tiles especially during heavy renovation where dust is apparent.

That's me mopping the floor one day before.

Tiles are transported to site.

All tiles are then exposed from their boxes to the air of the environment.

Do not stack all tiles in one single location.

Spread tiles in various locations for convenience of handling when you are covering different areas of your floor.

If there is air conditioning operational on a daily basis, we have to turn on the temperature to the average room temperature. The formula of the temperature set is as follow:
Average temperature = (Room temperature + daily air condition temperature)/2
This is to prevent vast shrinkage and expansion between floor and tiles. It is recommended to leave overnight for 24 hours.

Installation Works
Ensure the floor is clean of dust and debris.

Start planning the path of your tiles installation. The reason to plan your tiles is to prevent gapping and poor workmanship. That’s it.
You should always start from one end to the other. Also, start laying vertically as shown in the image.

DO NOTE: Do not lay horizontally as it will cause massive gappings and headache! Gappings in floorings will be very obvious.
By laying your tiles vertically from left to right, you are able to ensure no gapping will happen from the corners of your tiles because all tiles are firmly laid next to each other.

Having your tiles laid horizontally will need you to ensure both sides of the tiles will have no gapping. In other words, unless you are able to perfectly lay your tiles horizontally, you are bound to meet gaps along the way and you may waste a lot of time and energy ripping apart the tiles to seal the gaps.
Always lay tiles inside the floor area fully and only lay the corners at the end. We call them ‘closing ends’.

The reason to lay tiles only at the end is to allow tiles to accommodate for crooked laid tiles. No matter how skilled the installer and without gaps, the tiles laid may not be vertically or horizontally accurate and may vary by the dozen millimetres. See image for better understand.

Phase 2 - Consultation

To work with us, you must go through our online tools first, then only we will give you a consultation to see if you are even eligible for vinyl flooring in the first place. We would rather tell you that your floor is NOT suitable at all in the first place to safe you years of agony. We have the rights to refuse you for your own good rather than try to profit from you.

Phase 3 - Site visit
Once you are eligible for a flooring site visit, we will then go to your site to profile your floor.

Information of your floor will be collected as below:

- Floor Area - To get the estimate floor area for your floor.
- Environment info - Wall colour, furniture colour etc.. To run another interior designer test to ensure floor colour will not be a setback.
- Floor condition - To check any defects, uneven surface and prep works needed to prep the floor before installation.

Phase 4 - Installation

- Set tiles for prepping 3 days before installation works
- Clean floor thoroughly
- Start installation works
- Completion

Bitcoin startup idea advice

Dear Forumers,

I am currently in a startup weekend looking to understand full time bitcoin traders.

My idea is to create an app to connect full time bitcoin traders with micro investors.

The core idea is, the trader will inform the investors (followers) when to buy and sell.

Then in return, the followers will give the traders a return in commission (Let's say 5%-10%)

If the followers burn and crash it's their own risk to bare.

The traders might be able to connect with potentially hundreds of followers.

The question is, would a full time trader like you like this idea? Please poll above!

Your favourite hero in Dota 2

Hey every dota players here , I need to do a survey on a project i'm working on.

The story is i have a lot of free time after graduation and some money.

Therefore with my love of playing chess, i am building an international chess with DotA 2 concept!

My idea goes like this,

Pawn = Creeps
Rook/Castle = Str Heroes/Defence tower
Knight = Agi Heroes
Bishop = Int Heroes
Queen = Defence Tower/Str Hero
King = Ancient

The rules apply to both radiant and dire, black and white sides.

It will have additional rules in the gameplay as well (since playing chess a thousand times is kinda bored already)

So therefore i'm almost at my final phase, which is to pick your favourite heroes to work on.

So far i will only allow polling for certain heroes due to the modelling part.

Note: Help list the heroes as selected above k? X) Since i cant poll many... >.>

But do feel free to suggest any heroes you wish for me to create!

I will be posting my progress from time to time here.

Hey people, it has been 2 months ++ since my last update! And as some might wonder, i have NOT forgotten about the project and literally almost everyday i have been working on it! here is some teasers man of ALL the heroes you guys have voted on!

The complications of printing each character till now have been a double McD supersize challenge! (Fail print, printer malfunction etc...)

Radiant characters are 9/10 completed!
Dire characters are now 1.5/10 completed!

Guild wars 2 box DVD useless?

Hi guys, anyone experiencing this as well? I bought the game a day ago. After popping in the Dvd Disc 1, i ran the gw2setup, and suddenly after downloading a while, it started a massive download about estimated 15gb. I mean come on, the reason i waited for the damn box is because i dont wanna download the game from scratch and now this is happening..

Any guys have another solution whereby i can install from the Dvd?

I remember i use to play this when i was in Primary School.

Released Late January 2011.

Magic: The Gathering Tactics is a turn based MMORPG with gameplay similar to PoxNora. Players create spellbooks, or decks, using a variety of cards and battle it out on gridded maps. MTG Tactics utilizes a match making system for quick ‘pick-up’ practice games that allow players to test out their decks. There are three tournament formats including Open, Constructed, and Draft. These require various amounts of ‘gold’ to enter. Gold is earned by completing daily missions unlocked after completing the first singleplayer campaign. Additional campaigns and booster packs can be purchased through the cash shop. Alternatively, the winners of tournaments are rewarded with new cards and other items. Magic The Gathering Tactics is an in-depth game that offers strategic gameplay through its turn based combat. It also has 3D character designs which bring the cards to life.

How much i want to play wow...

I first watch a video of wow out of the frozen throne cd from war3 back in the early 200x (dont remember when anymore..) . Not knowing it's an mmorpg, i thought soon, i might just be able to buy it from any pasar malam and play it at home. it was never released then. But it never did and i lost the intention to buy the game over the time.

During the time i leave high school, i heard of it again but then i learned tat it was an mmorpg game. RO was just starting to fade at that time. Over the years i heard many many gamers talking about it. During my 2nd year in college, i had a fren tat plays wow and during tat time it was close to the release date of TBC. He told me stories and how good the game was. On how ppl are willing to sleep in front of the keyboard. I was totally sucked in at that time i tell u, and so lot curious. He even warned me badly with a famous quote from wow : Wow owns your soul. i remembered it till today.

Back then i've already had a gf. And with little allowance from my parents. 50 riggit a week including petrol fees. I couldn't affort the game no matter how badly i wanted to play it. I took the 10 days trial. Never lasted long due to the time factor. So it lead me to the last option. Private servers. I downloaded the game and finally played on the server. With bugs and all it wasn't fun at all. It never lasted long either.

over the years then i graduated (thankfully). And went into university. I had better financial than last time. And even today now when i envy each and everyone of u that u can actually affort and be able to play wow. I told myself, one day when i started working already, i can be able to buy and play wow. But... I know clearly myself, life goes on. I might not even have the time anymore then. It like, such a missed in life which i so wanna be a part of it. The videos on youtubes on the raidings. Especially when i see 40 alliances rushed in the horde cities and tearing down everyone and everything in it's way. So as i continuely wish and pray one day blizzard might drastically drop their payments and maybe one day private servers will be 100% complete.

Probably then only, i might have my chance...

i planning to sli 9800gtx+ But i know nothing about choosing the right mobo.. i prefer gigabyte products.

And PSU, thinking of getting high end core 2 duo. How much watt should i buy? >.<'' recommend me a brand.

thinking of adding some fans. 5 i think... 2 for graphic cards, 2 for self modding casing.

using 2gb 667ghz ddr2 ram, adding 2 gb more.
