Australian Companies in Malaysia

I have tried to search the forums on Australian companies based here locally (i.e. setting a branch in Malaysia) but have yet to find any significant input on these companies. I've read about DataCom and most of the time it's bad news.

Anyone currently working in an Australian company here in Malaysia other than DataCom?

Whats their working culture like? Do they treat their employees like other established MNC's?

I know that Australians are not used to the typical bonus systems we have here, but do they pay equally in terms of the total annual package?

Do their business fair well internationally?

Would working in an Australian company be a good portfolio in a persons resume?

If anyone would care to share I would be really appreciative.

I was wondering has anyone ever been successful in applying through jobstreet without using the conventional application but instead using the Non Member - Apply via Email button?

Is this method actually a viable method?

For example take a look at this page:

This method actually works? Or does the email disappears into the nether?

[WTA] Repair Centre for Sony Digital Camera

HI,

I've just damaged a camera by accidentally submerging it inside water.
It has never been turned on since the submerge.
I've sent the camera to Sony's repair center in KLCC but the technicians claimed that they could not repair it.
Do any of you know of a RELIABLE and TRUSTWORHTY place to send the camera for repair?

The Camera is a Sony Digital Camera Model DSC-S600.
