Hi hello,

- im using GTX 460 since last two years(installed using the CD driver-old version Nvidia)

- the problem starts when i play The Withcher pirated when it suddenly BSOD

- After restart, cannot run in normal mode, only safe mode

- Reformat my PC so many times, using almost all the old and new NVIDIA drivers but still BSOD

- Now the card is lying there, and im using Integrated GPU that is working fine

The first time i bought the GTX 460, i cannot install it using downloaded latest version driver.

Then i install it using the driver in the CD that came with the box. suprisingly it works!

but i accidentally thrown the CD and the box away while doing house cleaning

now i cannot use the driver in the CD back again to test whether it is driver problem because i dont have that one driver
that works when i installed it first time

now i wonder "is the card having problem due to the pirated game? or the BSOD? or incompatible driver? or is it broken?or do i have to go find the thrown CD back again for the right driver?"

anyway, i read in the Nvidia forum where 400 series had this driver problem(read those problems for few days though and cant find solution)

Please help me, i have spent few weeks figuring the answer to this problem

what should i do with my mobo and all my pc stuff?

i have these stuff

1)galaxy gtx 260+ tri fan

2)motherboard p5n-d faulty 2 times

3)processor intel q8400

4)700w vantec power supply ion2+

5)4 hdd 1tb,320g,80g,80g

6)lite on dvd rom

7)AOC 2434pw monitor

questions:

a)how do i check how much power needed to run these things?

b)what if i go fo sli, will my power supply support two gtx260 and running it smoothly with only 700w?

c)my currently mobo is burned again. will it be better for me to buy another socket 775 mobo sli to sli it or just buy a normal mobo that is cheap just to run stuff with my PC..
(currently not using much only play nwn2 online server and will be waiting for diablo 3 to play online also)

d)if i buy another mobo,say asus striker 2 for rm360 and give my faulty p5nd mobo to the seller to RMA,will it be worth the cost?

e)if i buy that mobo and sli my gtx 260, will it be better upgrade than only using cheap mobo? because i am currently running not heavy gaming and streaming while not using high graphics stuff. only nwn2 online and waiting for diablo3 online.sometimes company of heroes online also..

f)or would it be better if i go for RMA and test my luck for the 3rd time that my p5nD will work and bring the magic back again to my pc..arghhh..asus su**s!!! (did spend rm100 for two times RMA +rm40 gas money going there and waste my time)!!!

what is the current price for this monitor...

saw in amazon included hdmi cable 308 usd....around rm1080

is it the same here or cheaper because saw few items like acer 24inch rm890 is usd256 around rm980 at amazon..

why monitor in malaysia is cheaper than it says in amazon.com...?

price difference can go up to rm100-rm200..?

is there any kind of advantage from the dealer that they get cheaper than it was suppose to be in us?

i am an aerospace engineering student before but i flunk up my studies
bcuz of too many gaming n fooling around

now i changed to economics but find it not to my likings

i cant go for any ipta anymore because of old age and bad studies results

so i decided to find a new ipts which i can afford to study computer engineering
which i kinda have interest with.

i have 8800gts 320mb

i would like to upgrade to sli 8800gts 512 because of good reviews

but it says that my old one is pci 1.1

and the new one is pci 2.0

my motherboard is Gigabyte_GA_N680SLI_DQ6

and i dont really know whether it supports pci 2.0 or not
