Toyota service center review

Had my hilux since 2006, at first the service was really good but it became bad and later worse. Other than charging phenomenally expensive, I got it back not properly fixed. My latest experience was change the fuel filter at Toyota service center and after driving 20k the fuel warning light came on, so I decided to change myself (easy and straight forward), took out the old one (replaced by Toyota) and behold the O-ring slipped out. You can see the picture that the O-ring is out of shape. This not acceptable.

My 2 cents worth advice, after 40k send to a reliable and trust worthy experience mechanic for servicing. Toyota will show you the problem in writing but not the actual physical parts. Moreover you can't see them change the parts upclose other than seeing them behind a thick glass window lounge.

Another old incident, paid for aircond servicing but the aircond was not service. How I knew? I felt no difference in the airflow, send to a local aircond shop and they took out the entire dashboard and found years of collect dust. So what did they do?

I am Pissed off!!! No more Toyota service center.

[attachmentid=3716022]
