Plain Canvas Bag.

I am currently looking for plain canvas bag in low cost, 20 in amount for design/artwork purpose.
I wonder if anyone knows where to get cheap plain canvas bag aka. plain eco bag in Klang Valley area.

Budget is around RM10 - RM18 per bag.

The only solution I have now is to buy canvas cloth and sew it myself but I do not have a sewing machine here.

If anyone know where to buy a ready-made canvas bag or anyone who offer sewing service with cheap prices, please do reply.

what is avant garde?

I am helping a friend who is going to do a research on this topic, Avant Garde.

While we don't really understand what avant garde is, but from the internet it was said that avant garde means front guard, advance guard or vanguard in French.

Then I found informations about Futurism, typography, construtivism, dadaism and such under Avamt Garde.

My friend is supposed to do a research on Avant Garde related to graphic design as what the lecturer said. If so, which part should we look into??

Can anyone please help??

Brochure Design

I am wondering what programme is normally used to do brochure design.

I am new and have yet to do any before but would like to give it a try.
I guess I am more to self-learning for the mean time because I have yet to reach this syllabus in ma course yet.

I need to do a design of a brochure where I need to fold an A4 size into 3 parts.
I wonder if they have templates or something?

Anyone have any idea?

The simpliest the better as I am still not very good when it comes to designing using computer.

While for the mean time, I am better at Photoshop only compare to any other programme.

Research on Top Bloggers List

I have to do a research on the Malaysia 50 Top Bloggers and I've been wondering how to do it.

I tried googling about it but those lists I found are mostly back dated in 2006 or 2007.

Since they managed to make such a list last time, I wonder if I could use the same method to get a latest and more accurate Malaysia 50 Top Bloggers for 2008/2009.

Anyone have any idea of how to do it?

Need help urgently please.

I am on a project but I seriously have no idea of how to do it.

I've been giving a task in college on traditional packaging. I am supposed to find a tranditional item and design a brand new packaging for it.

While I am kind of stuck, can't think of anything traditional for the Chinese. Of course not something that is seasonal so I can get the item easier.

I need about 3 items to choose from while I only have one in mind which is the chinese wedding candles.

Anyone can contribute some ideas please?

I am given an assignment about Pop Art for ma History of Art and Design class.
I am supposed write a report about it but I am having difficulties deciding the chapters.
No idea of how I should divide it.

I've only decided on Chapter 1 where I would be talking about Introduction of Pop Art divided into sub-chapters of What is Pop Art, Origins and Influence.

Need help in deciding the rest of the chapters.

Anyone has any idea of what else about Pop Art that I should be researching on and put into Chapter 2 and so on?

Please help!

[WTA] scanner how much?

I'm thinking of getting a scanner since I have to scan my work into the computer. Plus PC Fair is coming in Ipoh this weekend, I'm wondering if I can get a good bargain there. I'm a noob and I heard most people is saying that printer + scanner together is more worth buying.

I'm wondering how much will a normal one cost?

By the way, I'm using Canon Pixma IP1000 and it's still in good condition. I'm wondering should I really get a 2 in 1 printer + scanner or just a scanner?

I would like to know the approximate price and also maybe which brand is recommended. Thank you.
