Dear /k

Have anyone here experience this before, someone creating fake profile to smear your good image and spread various Fitnahs to make you uneasy?

This is happening to me now.

The impostor created fake profile of my GF, add many of my friend's profiles and chat with closest ones to me about bad thing I've done (which I never did). Luckily my friends did not believe it.

Spreading fitnahs is one thing, and I wont become The Uncontrollable Hulk. But the thing that makes me really rage is that, my GF wears tudungs nicely but the impostor put free hair pics in this fake profile. Don't have any idea how he/she can get hold to the pics, highly probable that impostor is someone quite close to my GF (nephew/niece or college colleague perhaps)

Due to this, I would not reveal the fake profile link to public, sorry.

So what is the best way to deal with this kind of situation. I am considering filing police report or is there any special government/law enforcer body that can help me? And what procedure that I must go through?

I also considering hacking into the fake profile to deactivate it but the impostor might then make another fakes instead.

Kinda a bit lost though. Thanks for every help LYN'ers!

Technics Headphones.... Anyone?

Firstly I wanted to quote my previous post here a little bit... its just a question, for reassuring... Thx!

QUOTE(SilverCast @ Jun 26 2009, 10:51 PM)

Just asking LYN-ers ... I bought this at RM135. Is it Good Buy or Good BYE of money? Its a Technics RP-F550 Headphone

The package
[attachmentid=1047509]

The packaging
[attachmentid=1047510]

The headphone
[attachmentid=1047512]

Up close with the headphone
[attachmentid=1047511]

Up close with the packaging (can see price tag)
[attachmentid=1047513]

The sound, simply said I am very satisfied with the sound it can deliver. The 50mm driver produces very solid music. Since I love rock/Heavy rock/some Metal songs, large drivers can give that 'attack' in songs, the most desired part in songs. Separation in music 'between instrument' I must say that, I had to fork out more money to get headphones with more separation (I tested one AKG headphone priced RM250 and it have slightly better separation compared to this headphone). Just wanna make sure with headphones sifus here, is it worth...
[right][snapback]26899434[/snapback][/right]

Okey, now the real thing, I searched the forum and dosen't render any thread about Technics headphones. Come2 proud Technics headphones owners~

Currently I got two Technics babes, an old one (don't remember the model, and can't find it for now, so will update again ) and the new one RP-F550. Simply say, both are great!

How about you guys?

Stereo Sound Card/Speaker Discussion

Is there any high quality/Audiophile grade sound card (SC) that have 2 channels only, and is designed for 2.0 speaker setup, entirely for music listening? I am not using more than 2.0 speaker setups, so additional channel in SC is just a waste I even not interested in 2.1 speaker setups anymore as they are not very good in music listening (the stereo satellites tend to be designed only on relatively small size, so not very good in producing vocal and solid-guitar music, especially in high volume) Since I preferred Rock/Alternative Rock/Heavy Rock/Metal songs, I need to use quite large full range speakers instead, to dynamically reproduce good music listening. Currently I am using two (modified) bookshelf two-way bass reflex 3.5" full range speakers for stereo and a separate 2-channel amplifier to drive the speakers. My budget for the SC would be around RM200 or less. SC that is better than onboard sound is already good, as the onboard quite crappy itself Anyway any answer/suggestion?

Edit: I see this thread is growing towards discussion, so I tweak a bit

RAM Upgrade Recommendation

Need guide on my rig RAM upgrade please all LYN sifu...

Firstly, I try to give out detailed info on my system as below:

Proc: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.4Ghz
Stepping G0
Motherboard: Intel DG33BU Classic Series
BUS Speed: 266.7Mhz (x9 Multiplier)
Front Side Bus (FSB) speed: 1066MHz
Current RAM: 2x1Gb Kingston ValueRAM DRR2 667MHz, 2x512Mb Corsair ValueSelect DRR2 667MHz, Dual channel configuration
Current FSB:RAM speed ratio = 1066/(667x2) = 4:5
Current RAM Latency/Timing: 5-5-5-15
GC: Zotac 8600GT 256Mb dedicated GRAM

My motherboard details:
Chipset: Intel G33 Express Chipset
Max. 1333MHz system bus (now the Q6600 is at 1066MHz FSB )
Max. 800MHz DRR2 RAM speed (as 800MHz is for 1333MHz FSB configuration rite?? )
Max. up to 8Gb total RAM size Dual Channel

Okey, this is my question:

1. Does 667Mhz RAM and 800MHz RAM (say, both in dual channel) will make any difference in my system?
Well, if I am using 800MHz, the RAM speed will be way faster than FSB (current RAM already a bit faster than FSB)... Then the RAM will actually operate at lower speed mah?

2. Should I upgrade to 2x1Gb 667MHz RAM (dual channel) with low latency (say: 4-4-4-12) OR 2x1Gb 800MHz RAM (dual channel) with normal latency (say 5-5-5-15)?

3. IF the answer for no.1 is YES (800MHz will improve performance) then it is better to use 800MHz RAM with low timing rite?

4. For the current spec, I can see that my processor will operate at hardly max. 90% and mostly do 30% of usage even though I am playing Crysis Warhead (never stressing the CPU, maybe soon I try out stress program and see CPU usage) Loading programs like Adobe Photoshop will use average 20% and max. 34% for like 1 sec. and loading Autocad 2008 will make average usage 25% and peak at 45% for a very short period about 1 sec... Does this mean my RAM is not up to performance to squeeze out my proc. true performance?

5. Of all settings I see my RAM should be running at 667MHz. But CPU-Z showing only 333MHz. Is the CPU-Z showing actual speed? (DRR2 RAM if I am not mistaken actually run at half speed, only the wide bandwidth (64-bit interconnection) makes it 667MHz)

I think thats all for now. Thanks very much in advance responding to my noob questions
