sorry i am doing a school project, would like to get opinion from people who had experience in selling pc

my question is

1. after Thailand flood, other than hard disk, any else other pc stuff are affect?

2. How much 500G internal hard disk raise price to? the highest price? and now the situation?

external hard disk problem

my external harddisk is acer 500GB

today when i open with my both pc and netbook,

totally canot see any file inside, like a empty hard disk

actually i have save around 40G file inside the HD

when i click propertie, it show 40G used,

anywhere to see the file again? or recover the old file? the file include picture, mp3 etc

when i trying to save new file in the external HD, it show the new file, but the old file still not there.

was using window 7, and my PC window was crash yesterday, today just finish reinstall

Resign during probationary period

after i quit my job.
i worked at another company about 7 days.
has sign a contact that stage
"one week written or payment in lieu of notice can effect termination of employment during probationary period."

now i suddenly received a better offer from 3rd company. and the salary attract me to go over there.

that mean, i still have to work 1 week after i resign?
what does the "payment in lieu of notice" actually mean?

sorry, i dont have much experience on resign stuff.
how i gonna open mouth to boss...should i tell him the reason honestly?
emm just pass him letter? will they reject?

and I have never write a resignation letter while still in the probation period..its it the same?

and this both company got related, is same director, just differ company/name/field

Car bang by ang mo, and they reject to pay..

sorry for my broken explanation.

my car was knock by ang mo (russian) at friday. They are oversea student who study at local university.

my car was at the the roundabout that time ,following my own line turning round, a car from right hand side eat to my line. then ..bang..

The ang mo come out from the car, said its was his wrong, because he not familar with local road, so he ask his friend turn left. he promise will pay me. Total 3 person of them.

the next day i went workshop, quotation they gave me is rm2000+, so i call to meet those ang mo again.
After they saw the price, they said WHAT??? imposible!
He said his vios only rm600 to repair, i told them thats differ, mine = local car viva, metal not strong as ur vios, not able to knock back, have to change the whole thing (metal, bumple, lamp, bumple plastic)
ask a few workshop they also said the same thing, not able repair.

one of the ang mo said local car sure very cheap repair lah..bahbahbah.

His teory is, when u driving at roundabout, u must keep put right signal baru can continue drive at ur own line
thats mean u drive 1 round must signal 4-5 times ??

the music school i know at kuching only few below...
anyone who even study electric guitar or other instrumental at the following music school? how their teaching? good? strongpoint? weakpoint?
welcome to share.

any other music school or private teacher recommend are welcome too.

just went to visit, many ppl said their violin are best in kuching,
1st floor got sellling lot instrumental
piano rooms got 5-7 at 3rd floor kinda nice the feacilities
but not sure band good or not.. their band room at 4th floor, got a drum, few guitars, emp
if not wrong, d course include violin, viola, Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drum, piano.....what else..forgot
