Store Camera for long period

Hi,

May I know do you ppl took out the battery when not using the camera for a long period?

Will it cause any problem it keeping the battery inside the camera body?
Any best ways to keep the battery for great performance?

Moderate DSLR body or Entry DSLR with twin lens

Hi,
I have a budget control around RM2000 - RM2500 to buy a DSLR.
I am wonder to buy a Moderate DSLR body then only buy lens later or buy Entry DSLR with twin lens.

Hope sifu here can advice.....

My personal requirement for photography:
1. It's my hobby for more than 10 years (not a very serious hobby)
2. I like photography but i won't spend much into it due to budget control
3. All i wan is to have a better gear (low light, since my FZ-3 sucks)
4. Personal prefer a telephoto lens (around 200mm - 300mm) as my current FZ-3 serve me 38mm - 420mm
5. Dun mind if can get a second hand DSLR which is still in good condition (D80 or any recommend)
6. Need it at December, still have a lot time to decide which DSLR i should go in
