Honda Insight - Brake pads and absorbers

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest which are good quality brake pads (front) and absorbers i can replace my current Honda Insight original brake pads and absorbers. Honda SC is charging me RM600 for the brake pads which I personally feel is an overkill. Please also let me know where I can purchase it..

[WTA] Car Tint Advise Needed

Hi All,

I have bought a new car but I am not sure which tint to go for .. With so many brands available it is soo confusing.
I would like to get a tint + security film and also something that keeps the car cool while kept under the sun.

Can anyway here please advise me which tint to go for?
My budget is 1k.

Hi,

I just received my Dell XPS desktop last week.

I am thinking of adding more ram to the computer (as they said this unit can take up to 12gb of ram - no that I intend to purchase till 12gb.. thinking of upgrading it up to 8gb).

Now the issue is, the ram is manufactured by Elpida.. I have not heard of this company before and when I spoke to Dell, they told that its best for me to add ram that are manufactured by Elpida. Is this true? Or can I add in Ram manufactured by Kingston or Corsair?

Hi..

I have made an order via Dell to buy the Desktop Computer (XPS 9000). It is costing me around $5000 now.
A collegue of mine have told me that it is quite expensive and I can get a better deal outside .. I do not know if I am being ripped off or if I got a good deal.. Can someone help?

Need Help to Buy PC

Hi all,

I plan to buy a new pc.. (desktop) .. I need your expertise here to give me the best config for my budget thats max 3k
Use of the pc will be .. surfing.. downloading movies from torrent.. burning movies... light gaming .. and something that can be upgraded to Windows 7 later..

I will need keyboard, mouse, monitor, and 2 cd/dvd drives..

P/S: is it better to buy a customized desktop from places like low yatt/digital mall or should i just purchase it from Dell/HP

I really need help here.. Kinda NOOB when it comes to all this..
I want to understand what does all this means

Example:
Processor C2D P8600(2.4GHz, 3M L2, 1066MHz) -> what does this means.. how to know if it is good?

NVIDIA geforce 8400GS(256MB dedicated ram) -> what does this means..

ATI HD3470 grsphic (256M dedicated) -> wuts the difference then the above

I know the basic like RAM and HDD size.. but all the above is kinda

I am currently searching for a laptop.. i have got few responses but i need to know what does all this specs means before i go to search for a laptop. My budget is btwn 3k - 3.5k

Got a job offer

Basically i got a job offer by CS*.

Is there anyone here from there who has worked there before who can sort of give some advise as how the company is like. In terms of career progress, bonus and the working environment.

They are giving me a raise around 20% more then my previous pay..

Hope to get a reply soon as they are wwaitinng for me to accept/reject the offer.

Buying new laptop

I need to buy a laptop kinda ASAP.
But with sooo many choices I really don't know what to buy. Could someone please guide me?

Budget : btwn 3k - 3.5k
Specs: Intel processor, at least 2gb ram (or higher), 160gb hdd (or higher), and good graphics for movies and occasional gaming..
Weight: Shouldn't be heavy as will kinda need to carry it arnd.
Main purpose: Work, MBA, surfing and occasional movies and playing games.
Brand: any except Acer

Could you all suggest some good laptop in the budget range?
