My story is simple. Did Chinese primary, national secondary, Form 6 (Physics + Chem) and then Mechanical Engineering in NUS, Singapore. Always have a passion for cars and automotive industry. Graduated 2010 and joined an MNC in SG that has 60% of it's global business in the automotive industry.

Started in the company's graduate trainee program and was rotated around different departments. Currently spending 6 months in UK office (stint ending in Jan 2012). My functional roles in the company thus far have been around product management.

Have always wanted to help younger people back home (especially those keen on the automotive industry) to maximize their potential and answer any questions they have regarding studying and working aboard (I sure didn't get such an outlet when I ventured beyond Malaysia). So feel free to fire away.

Let's see if there are any takers at all.

Anyone on the FSAE team of any uni? Coz I'm gonna end my 1st year of Mechanical Engineering in NUS soon and they're recruiting for the FSAE team. I have the passion for cars and motorsports so that's why I'm considering to sign up. Wonder anyone here able to give me advice and tips... It sounds like a heck load of commitment ler... can't go home during vacation and all

Ferrari Enzo crashed during movie promotion

While doing a promotion stint for an upcoming supercar film, Eddie Griffin crashed a Ferrari Enzo.

Babo Violent 2

Anybody tried this game Babo Violent 2 before? Originally developed by RndLabs to test their system networks, it's a pretty addictive online top-down shooter game. Simple to pick up yet hard to master, you basically control a rolling ball with guns, grenades, and molotov cocktails and go around fragging other balls in free-for-all, team deathmatches, and capture-the-flag game modes, on a variety of maps.

Very small game size ~9 MB, it usually runs pretty smooth if you play in servers within the country. When more players join in, it can be really adrenaline-pumping and chaotic! Go try it! Malaysia needs more servers and players! It's free anyway!

P/S: System requirements are not high, but you'd need to obtain the latest graphic drivers to avoid crash/serious lag issues.

Sweating problem

I don't know if I have hyperhidrosis. I seem to sweat very fast when it's warm/humid, visibly faster and more than most people I know, especially the face/forehead. Sometimes when tension/nervous, even playing pool in shopping complex(1U) also can sweat. After a shower come out sometimes also can sweat if don't sit under a fan for a while. Play sports that time lagi don't need say. During public exams, I have to use handkerchief/bandanna to tie around my forehead to prevent the sweat from flowing down my face. Friends all say I'm like very semangat only

And sweating only begets more sweating, especially around company/formal function because become more nervous.

As a result at home I always wear sleeveless. Sleeved T-shirts also some of it cut off the sleeve to wear at home. But go out sometimes cannot ma...how?

Underarms and torso no problem as I use antiperspirants/deodorants/body mists that cool the body. But the forehead/face/neck how ah? Takkan apply antiperspirant on forehead right?

Anyone got any advice short of surgery? It really has been a problem all 19 years of my life. I'm not fat or anything. I jog and weight train. 180cm 72kg. I think I got it from my parents. My dad says he has "alot of sweat pores" and my mom sweats alot too.

P/s: Is it really true daily application of deodorant can lead to side effects?

Anyone going/at Singapore uni study?

Any LYN forumers going/at Singapore uni study ah? I'm a STPM leaver and going NUS for mechanical engineering soon(starts August) Don't have a scholarship though, only applying MOE tuition grant. Still rather expensive but the quality is there I believe.

Don't know any Form 6 friends going with me...sad

Basketball shoes

I just bought a new pair of basketball shoes. Nike Shox dunno wat model name liaw, but know is Shox series coz got "springs" at the heel there maybe later post some pictures.

Bought at Singapore at a place call Queensway Shopping Center for SGD 118 not bad, discounted from SGD 180+. Singapore now sale ma. There alot of variety so I like to buy there.

Just wondering what the rest of you LYN ballers wear. Any good recommendations? Compare compare notes here.

Anyone here heard of a penis enlargement method call jelqing before?

Basically it's like making an "ok" sign with your thumb and forefinger and "milking" your member. Dunno can work or not. Anybody tried or heard of it before?
