Charity Night Shows for Dreamgirls the Musical

Greetings from Broadway Academy.

First of all, let me introduce myself, Linet Goh from Sales and Marketing from Broadway Academy, a production company based in Kuala Lumpur which stages internationally licensed show directly from Broadway, New York. This year, we are given the rights from Tams-Witmark to stage Dreamgirls The Broadway Musical Sensation.

The Royal Patron for Dreamgirls is DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Sultan Azlan Shah and will be gracing the event on July 17 (Sunday). We also have a very good line up of casting for Dreamgirls and we would like to share with you the line-up as below:

Effie White – Elvira Arul ( actor and singer )
Curtis Taylor Jr. – Tony Eusoff ( actor and singer )
Deena Jones – Cheryl Samad (celebrity TV host and presenter )
Lorrell Robinson – Azura Zainal ( celebrity TV host and presenter )
Michelle Morris – Ruzana Ibrahim ( singer from the group Lushes )
C.C White – Dafi ( Akademi Fantasia 5 finalist )
Dina – Understudy for Effie White and ensemble ( Malaysian Idol Season 1 and celebrity DJ )
Reefa – Understudy for Jimmy Thunder and ensemble ( rapper and celebrity DJ )
Marty Madison – Indi Nadarajah ( Comedy Court )

Broadway Academy just had a Press Conference yesterday for Dreamgirls and also to know more about the charity bodies that we are supporting for several shows. We have allocated 3 shows whereby we will be channeling certain portion of the proceeds to charity bodies namely, Make-A-Wish Foundation (July 16), National Cancer Society Malaysia (July 17) and PT Foundation and The Safe Clinic (July 24).

If you have a corporate company, we are pleased to inform you that we have corporate rate tickets with several packages, starting from RM960 for 20+2 tickets for categorized seating. We also have Grand Circle VVIP packages if the company wishes to book the entire circle in which the company will be free to do their own advertisement or promotion in that area.

New BAND - Juanophobia

Hi - we are a new band called Juanophobia and we are looking for opportunities to perform and showcase the band.
We are an eight-piece band, with a very complete line up of instrumentations, from vocal, violin, horns, and the rhythm section.
We play Pop, Funk, Motown, Fusion, Latin, R&B, Standard Jazz and Big Band with our own arrangements, but our main genre would be Latin, Funk and Fusion.
We also are in the midst of composing some originals and will hope to showcase those too! =)
