Khazanah sells 1.3% stake in TNB

PETALING JAYA: Sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd is selling 74 million shares or 1.3% in Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) via an accelerated book-building exercise.

In a term sheet cited by StarBiz, the book-building price range is RM11.83 to RM12.30 per share, valuing the deal between RM875.4mil and RM910.2mil.

The placement is offered at a discount of 0% to 3.82%, based on TNB’s closing price of RM12.30 on April 23.

There is a further upsize option of 11 million shares.

As for the vendor, there is a 60-day lock-up period for all shares held by Khazanah post-placement.

The books opened and closed last night. The trade date will be today while settlement is on April 28.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin menzahirkan penghargaan kepada petugas barisan hadapan yang bertungkus-lumus berusaha mengekang penularan wabak COVID-19 sehingga Malaysia mendapat pengiktirafan dunia.

Pada satu sidang video bersama petugas kesihatan Hospital Sungai Buloh, Muhyiddin menyifatkan pengiktarafan itu hasil daripada peranan yang dimainkan mereka dan kesemua barisan hadapan yang lain.

"Saya sampaikan kepada mereka yang dunia kini mengiktiraf keupayaan negara dalam menangani penularan COVID-19. Ini semua adalah kerana peranan yang dimainkan oleh mereka dan semua barisan hadapan dalam menjayakan langkah yang diambil kerajaan.

"Kita adalah antara yang terbaik di dunia! Namun, saya ingatkan bahawa perjuangan belum berakhir. Masih banyak yang perlu kita lalui," katanya dalam hantaran menerusi laman Facebooknya, hari ini.

Sidang video pagi ini turut disertai Pengarah Hospital Sungai Buloh Dr Kuldip Kaur, Pakar Perubatan Penyakit Berjangkit Dr Yasmin Mohamed Gani dan tujuh anggota perubatan di pelbagai peringkat yang terlibat memerangi COVID-19 di hospital itu.

At 2009 - 2011, Simon Cheng contracted with Limkokwing University as part-time industry guest lecturer.
He was one of the selected designer for the NASA’s International Space Development Conference project at 2010.

On the 16th of July, Simon will be talking about the processes that you have to do to create a video game. He'll also introduce you to the local and global video game industry to show you where you can go and how far. Prep yourself and hear what Simon has to say.

PETALING JAYA: DAP has been training cybertroopers for six years and now the party boasts the biggest number of online troopers dubbed the “Red Bean Army” numbering in the thousands, former Klang DAP Youth chief Shen Yee Aun said.

He claimed the cybertroopers, who are paid well, were trained to hack pro-government websites and social media sites.

It is alleged that the Red Bean Army has between 2,000 and 3,000 members, whose purpose is to launch attacks on any pro-government messages as well as spreading unfounded allegations.

Shen said the messages would then be spread as fast as possible with the aim of instilling hatred and mistrust toward the government.

“The cybertroopers would also threaten people to achieve their objective. Their modus operandi is to create fiction, manipulate information as well as attack and ridicule the government.

“Even those seen to support the government would be victimised. These cybertroopers are spreading politics of hate,” he said.

Shen cited examples of local model Leng Yein, who was victimised by the Red Bean Army, just because she spoke against the Kedah Government's dress code for mo- dels.

Even celebrities, including Michele Yeoh, Jackie Chan and Azhar Sulaiman have not been spared from their attacks.

Umno Youth's new media unit chairman Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz said the lies spread by the opposition had become nasty and slanderous as polling day drew nearer.

“We learnt from the 2008 election experience that we cannot let them just spread lies.

“We are fighting the opposition on their own turf through our cyber activists. We are lagging behind but at least our presence in the cyber world is felt,” he said.
