Hi all sifus, 1st time posting here...

anyway here's the problem :
my old acer RC550 desktop keep shutting down by itself previously, after some test, i found out that the processor is overheatng with over 100 degree celcius, that is why it keep shutting down after a while.
so i bought a new thermal gel and some sandpaper to lap my heatsink.
now after i complete lapping the heatsink and applying the thermal paste, clean the internal and fans and re-assemble everything,
my pc couldnt boot into window already.
Now whenever i on the power and press the On button, the computer will turn on but it couldnt start into
the Acer bios screen and and POST though everything seems to be working fine, and all the fans running.
the front led light which should normally light green colour after switching on the computer will remain amber colour (amber colour means it was in standby mode previously, but everything seems to be running normal just cannot boot into bios, POST and into window)

tried taking out the cmos battery,
tried counter-check everything was connected and assemble correctly,
tried taking out the ram and rubbing the connection.

now out of ideas on what happen to my computer. please help !

hey good day to all photography sifus here...
i was rummaging through my father's old gadgets in the store room the other day and
i found a set of my dad's old film slr, its lenses and a few spoiled flash...

these are the things i found :
a canon eos 650 film slr (havent found a battery yet so couldnt test it)
a EF 35-105mm f3.5-4.5 lens
a EF 100-300mm f5.6 lens
a Topman MC 80-300mm (minolta lens with oly mount i think)
a Hoya teleconverter 2X which can be fitted to the topman lens
a spoiled speedlite 300EZ (corroded battery) and a working achiever 260AF flash.

all these are kept inside a camera bag in a humid store room for many years already, so as a result all
the lenses and the camera are filled with alot of fungus and some dust.
so i was wondering if it was worthwhile to sent all these things for repair
imho the total cost of the repair will be quite expensive kwa (not sure the actual cost for repairing all these things but total should near 1k i think)
and where can i fix all these things if i were to repair it. Thanx.
