Instead of a direct announcement, it has been teased with posts on Twitter, with some depicting what could be the tagline of the game: What is the hardest case to solve?

On February 19, 2013, a teaser trailer was released on the official YouTube channel of the game. The developer has been confirmed to be Airtight Games and the game will release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The concept of the title was based on Die Hard, but with a twist when creative director Yosuke Shiokawa wondered what if protagonist John McClane died in the events of the film yet continues to fight as a ghost.

It has been teased to be targeted for 2014.

QUOTE

Murdered: Soul Suspect, the game where you have to solve your own murder. You play as Ronan O’Connor, a detective with a “checkered past,” who is murdered by a brutal killer.

Unable to move on, O’Connor is stuck in the limbo world of Dusk, and needs to find his killer and bring him to justice before he can move on in peace. Using his new-found supernatural powers, O’Connor is able to explore the town of Salem, Massachusetts from the afterlife.

Even in the afterlife, O’Connor remains a detective. He can interrogate the ghosts of past Salem citizens to piece together the mystery. He also has the ability to read the minds of the living, and influence their thoughts an actions, although it would seem he can’t communicate with them directly.

Oh, and of course, there’s the occasional battle with demonic spirits.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is slated for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Read more at http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/04/murde...qhpPIYWpHCEv.99

Anyone interested? Because seems like no one remember this game??

I really looked forward to it though.. Like many said it has lil resemblance to ghost trick.. But the plot here is thick.. Still I hoped there are more combats and the mystery cases are tougher to solve with puzzles and stuff....

When you strike enemies, you’ll see onomatopoeic words like “Barin!” and “Zugyan.”

Settings include Akihabara, Yokohama, Amamiya, and Nippori. It is also notable for implementing a free-roaming storyline within an open game world where all the characters have their own schedules. It is considered one of the most divisive games to be released in a long time, and has become known for its "wildly mixed critical reception and headline-making strangeness." It is seen as a primary example of "games as art"and holds the Guinness World Record of "Most Critically Polarizing Survival Horror Game

The game gives the player control of FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan (referred to as York), who arrives at the fictional supernatural town of Greenvale sent to investigate the murder of a young woman, Anna Graham. York takes on the case due to the manner of the killing; a seemingly ritualistic murder of a young woman where red seeds have been found on or near the body, as this is similar to a series of other murders across the country.

Gameplay Description (Wikipedia)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Deadly Premonition is a psychological horror open world game which gives the player the freedom to explore the town of Greenvale and choose events and activities to participate in, alongside mandatory sequences which advance the game's overall story. The main character, Agent York, is controlled from an over-the-shoulder perspective, and can wander freely, talk to other characters, and collect and use inventory, including an array of melee and ranged weaponry and recovery items. He is awarded money for numerous actions - both for solving quests and for minor events like killing enemies; money can also be penalized for poor performance. York may explore the environments on foot, or use one of a variety of cars to travel long distances at speed. These cars must be maintained, as they consume fuel, which York must purchase, and accumulate damage which will render them useless unless York pays for their repair. York himself must also be maintained, as he requires food and sleep at regular intervals. He must also shave and change his clothes periodically or his hygiene-related scores will suffer.

The game has a day-night cycle which operates at one-third of real time; one game day takes eight hours to elapse during free exploration. Time frequently skips ahead in response to story events, and York can accelerate its passage by smoking cigarettes. Places of business and entertainment venues in Greenvale have specific hours of operation and must be visited at the proper time to enter them and make use of their services. The inhabitants also have their own schedules, and will travel around town as they go about their business. They are labeled with onscreen indicators so that they may be tailed in vehicles, and York can peep through the windows of many buildings to observe their activities. If York engages them at the right place and time of day, they can offer him sidequests to perform for additional rewards. There is also a dynamic weather system, in which adverse weather occurs at random and will change conditions in the town, necessitating the use of headlights or windshield wipers when driving. In addition to sidequests, scattered throughout the town are a set of trading cards which can be collected while exploring.

The game also contains numerous survival horror combat sequences, in which York must defeat otherwordly enemies while trapped in certain locations. Enemies can approach by walking or by a quick teleportation maneuver; most will engage York with hand-to-hand attacks if they reach him. York must stop moving to use his weapons, leaving him vulnerable to rush attacks. Enemies may be armed with melee weapons, guns, or other types of weapon; some enemies include a quick-time event to escape their attacks. During these sequences, York's primary objective is to investigate crimes which took place there in the recent past; collecting photos of pieces of evidence will allow him to "profile" the scene and reconstruct the events that took place with his deductive skills.

Announcement

QUOTE

Deadly Premonition PS3 has ‘over 100 improvements’
PlayStation Move support, "full HD," and more, says director

The enhanced PlayStation 3 version of Deadly Premonition, announced yesterday as Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, will include over 100 changes, director Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro has said.

“The game will now be in full HD,” Suehiro said in a blog post. “Other things have been changed as well, such as the player controls.

“It’s very easy to control now, so even people who didn’t play the original should have no doubts about taking the plunge this time.”

Other new elements include additional scenarios an PlayStation Move support. Players who’ve completed the game before will find “plenty of new stuff” to enjoy, said Suehiro.

“In any case, we tried to create this Director’s Cut in such a way that the appearance of the game world would be maintained, while also being accessible to newcomers and old fans.”

He continued, “I’ve been especially picky about pouring the thoughts and feelings I’ve experienced since the release of the original into this game in such a way that it really makes you feel that 2 years have passed since then.

“I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether I succeeded or failed.”

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut will be released worldwide next year, “starting in Europe,” according to Suehiro. Just think about this as a rumor.”

Swery is currently working on “some new script and scenarios” for the director’s cut, but has yet to decide on whether or not they will be used. He has also compiled a list of “about 200 things” players want to see improved based off feedback from the original game. He is going through that list with the director’s cut, and choosing what he thinks will be good to work on. “Things like the controls and graphics,” he said.

Access also has a second, new project in the works. However, considering the developer is still “in talks with publishers,” it cannot discuss platforms. Swery teased that by next summer, “everyone will haev a good idea of what it’s going to be.” But is it Deadly Premonition 2? “Hmm, maybe!” he said.

He moved forward to discuss his monthly meetings with the Deadly Premonition‘s producer (Access Games’ Kuniaki Kakuwa, we’re guessing), in which the topic of Deadly Premonition 2 has come up. Swery said he wanted to create the sequel acting as if the events of the first game had never happened, and create from scratch. “Like with Spider-Man, you’ve got Spider-Man and the Amazing Spider-Man, so the same series but a different world,” he said. However, the producer was against this idea, as he believes the fans are just too crazy about main character York.

Source:Gematsu

Trailer

I am sure many of us miss this game as it was release only for Xbox in year 2010. But, due to having stiff gameplay it did not get the recognition it was suppose to have. However, now we get the chance to experience the game all anew.. With HD feature and gameplay improvement also additional scenario, I think this will be one of the best creative horror base game in this decade. Hope everyone here will get it and support the game so we can get more unique and daring story line like this in the future.

Remember Me (aka Adrift) : Release date: TBA

Here it is.. An all new IP from Ubisoft ex staff published by Capcom. The whole concept is interesting albeit too much of mix and match.. But, I think it look sort of fun.. FYI, this game was first seen in last year's gamescom.. Lets hope for the best!

QUOTE

Adrift is set in Neo Paris in the year 2084, in a world wracked by environmental disaster and overpopulation. The cornerstone of the game's story is the fact that human memories are now able to be separated and stored, complete with their accompanying sights, sounds and smells.

These memories can then be traded on the open market, the game exploring the consequences of what happens when people glibly trade the private memories of others and the potential for exploitation that can arise as a result.

Adrift's creative team includes concept art legend Aleksi Briclot and award-winning sci-fi author Alain Damasio, the studio built from the ground up to emphasise something many others regard as an afterthought, if at all: visual style, story and writing. I didn't get to see the writing, but the art, as you can see above, looks amazing.

Now, remember: I saw nothing of this as a game. So it's my favourite "game" from Gamescom, not my favourite game. Dontnod say it's a third-person action title with a graphical style that, while realistic, indulges in colour and a light/dark contrast (it sounded to me a lot like the approach Mirror's Edge took with its hyper-realism). But I couldn't see any of that for myself.

But as someone who plays games as an escape, who prefers to lose himself in a fantasy world rather than shoot at people from the real one, I couldn't help but walk away from Dontnod's presentation feeling more anticipation for Adrift than anything else I've seen at Gamescom. Which either says a lot about how cool this looked or how ho-hum most other stuff looked. Probably a bit of both.

Source

Regardless of when it comes out in Japan, North America and Europe will get to play it next year.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is an action RPG developed by the Prinny team, and features a knight that can turn into a hundred others. This knight can be good or evil, and you’ll even be able to attack innocent NPCs if you so choose. Nippon Ichi call it an open-ended dark fantasy game.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is slated for US/EU release in early 2013.

Source: Siliconera

Plot

Deep within the forest, there live two witches: the beautiful marsh witch and the ugly forest witch. The two are engaged in a deadly war for supremacy. One day, the beautiful marsh witch encounters the legendary "one hundred cavalry", whom she then used magic summoned into the battle, in hope of gaining the upper hand against her rival.

Characters

Metallica is a beautiful marsh witch and also is the main character of the story. She hopes to get rid of her long time rival, the forest witch, and fill the world with marshland.

One hundred cavalry
One of the one hundred cavalry that Metallica summoned. Although looks small on the outside, it's able to wield a large broadsword. It has great power but has lost most of its ability to cast magic. It's also lost the notion of morality and will do brutal things in battle. It does not fully accept Metallica as its master. Harvey Smith, known for his past work on the Deus Ex franchise as well as Thief: Deadly Shadows, and Raf Colantonio, who worked on Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, are the lead designers on the game.

Setting

The game is set in an open world[citation needed] that blends both the past, future, and things in-between, of our reality. Nobles ride in carriages, masses of man-eating rats lurk in the dark gutters, the sound of automated factories can be heard in the distance, and towering war-machines prowl the cobbled streets. The economy of the world, which is going well into its industrial age, is booming with the success of a useful, multipurpose fuel; whale oil. Locations include the desolate Isles, the mighty Pandyssian Continent, and the city of Dunwall.

Synopsis

The player controls Corvo, once a legendary guard for the Empress, who seeks vengeance against the Lord Regent who framed him for the assassination of the Empress. Corvo is not only a fine swordsman, master-at-arms, and cunning infiltrator, but also possesses great supernatural powers. The game is presented in open world format as the player can roam The Isles as well as the distant Pandyssian Continent, though the primary setting for the game is the steampunk-esque city of Dunwall.

The game is played in first-person, with an emphasis placed on stealth action and the utilization of gadgets as well as the environment to eliminate opposing forces. In the Game Informer cover story, it was mentioned that every enemy in the game (even bosses) can be neutralized non-lethally, if the player so chooses. Lead designers Harvey Smith and Raf Colantonio have described the game world as a "simulation"; if the player encounters thugs harassing an innocent passerby, they can be fought off, but the thugs themselves exist within the game world prior to the event, rather than simply spawning in at a designated time or place. If the player encounters the thugs ahead of time, they can be defeated and the mugging will never take place at all.

Corvo has access to swords, daggers, and guns, including powerful but slow pistols and muskets. Some of his supernatural powers are the ability to freeze time for a certain period, and possess the bodies of small animals.

Also part of the game is an entity referred to as "The Outsider". The ambiguous being is described as part angel and part devil, and it is supposedly responsible for all magic in the world. Its motives and nature are shrouded in mystery, but the protagonist, Corvo, made some form of contact with the being, giving him mysterious powers. According to lead designers Raf Colantonio and Harvey Smith, the Outsider walks among the mortals of Dishonored's world.

Walkthrough

Developer discussion

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Grab you copy now!! Its out!

At the end of a short battle with some aliens he is knocked unconscious, after which the plot jumps forward several years. Samuels is now a bounty hunter on the alien world Exodus. Though he is aware of his profession and has retained his skills, he has no memory of what happened in the time that passed since his abduction.[5] He initially believes himself to be the only human on Exodus until he runs into Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi (the protagonist of the original Prey), whom he has apparently met in the period he no longer remembers.[6] Killian then resumes his bounty hunter activities while recovering his memory.

As stated its a FPS, but open world, developed by Human Head Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, which is due for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2012.

It is the sequel to the 2006 video game Prey. Anyway, I hope they have solid plot for this game though.. The trailer looks interesting.. And its clearly better than the prequel..

We heard a bit about it this morning, but Sokuho@Hokanko has come through with a better, more detailed summary.

Ichimura, who’s heading up the project, has moved on from the days of Dragon Quest, and is currently working on a number of new projects.

The game’s platform has yet to be decided, though they’re aiming for a release on consoles (note the plural). If timing calls for it, they may consider a next-generation release.

A few pieces of concept art are found in the magazine. Famitsu cites them as western-looking (they look to represent middle ages Europe), though Ichimura says the game isn’t exactly meant to target western audiences. Square Enix is challenging itself to create an interesting game for a worldwide audience. And in doing so, the developers are working with western staff to ensure they’re creation of the environments are done as best as possible.

In creating the game, the staff has traveled the world, conducting surveys, and finding out what players want in a game. They’re aiming to make it a game for the players, rather than force what they, themselves want into the game.

A team of 35 are working to develop this new action RPG, each staffer experienced in RPG creation. Though, it’s not enough. The team is seeking developers experienced in action game creation and networking technology. They’ll open a recruitment site later this week where qualified applicants may apply.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

So what say you? I for one am ok.. It looks interesting.. They got this Resident Evil 4 x Demon Soul x Vagrant Story feel to it..

PS: Super huge image..

Yakuza 5

Back Story

QUOTE

2010. The feud between the two yakuza clans, the Tojo Clan and the Ueno Seiwa Clan came to a close with the unexpected revelation of a conspiracy by the police force.

Afterwards, under the orders of the 6th chairman of the Tojo Clan, Daigo Dojima, a major reconfiguration of the yakuza organization was executed and a truce was made with the Omi Alliance.
Until…

December, 2012. The 7th chairman of the Omi Alliance is on his deathbed.
The death of the 7th chairman.
It would mean the end of peace between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance and an all-out war between the East and West clans.
In order to prepare for the potential upheaval of the Japanese crime underworld, the Tojo Clan is forced to do the forbidden in order to strengthen their organization.

Hokkaido, Nagoya, Fukuoka…
Reaching out to the old clans based in the larger cities, they seek to do what has never been done before and join forces to create a new organization to rival the Omi Alliance.

A risky new alliance that would breach the old barriers of Clan territories.
But in order to avoid a potential war between the East and West, Daigo Dojima swallows his pride and heads to Fukuoka…

But already the wheels had been set in motion.
A plan that would envelop all the Clans in Japan in a massive war. The curtain now slowly rises.
Starting with the death of one man…

As the mountain that is the Tojo Clan begins to move, one by one, the "sleeping players" begin to awaken.

Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
For what they believe in, and for the 'dream' of one girl, those who had parted ways to walk their own paths are once again thrust into the whirlwind of conflict.

One, to give up a 'dream.'
One, to realize a 'dream.'
And another to regain a 'dream…'

When the 'dreams' of 4 men and 1 girl cross paths, the truth that spans 5 cities is revealed…

Earlier News

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE

Yakuza 5 is now officially in development, but creator Toshihiro Nagoshi isn't saying too much about it. Sega's Yakuza series press conference earlier today was mostly devoted to outlining the formation of the Nagoshi's new studio, Ryu ga Gotoku Studio (named after the Japanese name of the Yakuza series), and the announcement of Yakuza Black Panther 2 for PSP.

During a group interview session with the press that followed the event, Nagoshi shared a few high level comments about Yakuza 5.

Asked about the concept of the game, Nagoshi said that when looking at the "drama" side of the series, the concept will not see major changes. However, he feels that they must pursue new things in terms of technology and play style. They're aiming to innovate on the gameplay side of things.

Asked about how drastic the gameplay changes could be, Nagoshi replied that they won't be as drastic as the game's action or drama components being completely removed, for instance. He feels that they must think both about current fans and newcomers.

The game's basic settings (this is not the "setting" as in location, but the settings as in the game's design) will be seeing changes, so Nagoshi hopes that people won't mind waiting a bit this time. While it would have been possible to get Yakuza 5 out quickly without changing the settings, Nagoshi feels that this isn't desired.

Sega usually shows off new Yakuza games at the Tokyo Game Show. So will we see more of Yakuza 5 at the September event this year? Nagoshi wouldn't give a firm yes or no. The game appears to be quite early, though. Nagoshi explained that while it would be a lie to say that there isn't a design document in place yet, he did feel that the timing of the announcement was a bit too early.

Expectedly, Nagoshi would not provide details on release time frame or platform when asked during the interview session.

Nagoshi also provided some clarification on the formation of Ryu ga Gotoku Studio. He's still an employee of Sega, he assured. In fact, although the studio has its own name, it's located within Sega. Nagoshi's work place hasn't changed.

Asked if he hopes Ryu ga Gotoku Studio will become a landmark brand for Sega similar to the old AM2 brand, Nagoshi replied that it would be nice if this would happen. However, rather than being known just for the studio itself, he hopes the brand becomes recognized by players as the studio that makes great games.

Source: Andriasang

UPDATE:

QUOTE

Here are some of the other bits from Famitsu's first look at the sequel:

-Kazuma is still the star..
-The game will have massive volume.
-Nagoshi says that if likening the series to a house, 5 would be like building a new house rather than adding an extension to an existing house.
-The five cities will be of scale at or beyond the previous Osaka (Dotonbori) and Okinawa (Ryukyu) locations.
-Rather than seeking out hostesses to appear in the game, Sega will be traveling to the five cities to seek out girls who will serve as a cheering squad for the game. The girls will appear in commercials as well.
-The game will have presentation improvements, including shortened load times, improved camerawork and better character expressions. The team is using some of the knowhow they gained from working on Binary Domain.
-The game will also have improved technology to allow for seamless conversations and battles. Nagoshi says that you will be surprised with the result.
-The story will connect directly with Yakuza 4. It will not carry over from the zombie-themed Yakuza Of the End.
-Masayoshi Yokoyama is now a producer. On past Yakuza games, he worked on such areas as script and scenario.
-Development is currently in an early phase. Famitsu lists the game as date TBA.

Andriasang

UPDATE:

QUOTE

Something's going down in Kamurocho. Sega appears to be planning some sort of announcement for the series, as indicated by all the construction work that's going on in the cityscape at the Official Site.

A video at the site recaps the series through Yakuza 4, and finishes with "And Then..." followed by the text "First look on May 24." This seems to suggest a long awaited reveal for Yakuza 5, which Sega announced months ago but has not fully detailed.

Yakuza games tend to debut in Famitsu. The next issue hits on the 24th, which presumably means we'll get early word of it on the announcement on the 23rd at around 8:30 or so in the AM (yes, we have our flying gets precisely timed).

Site pic below:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Source: Andriasang

May News!

QUOTE

Yakuza 5 ups the four character ante set by Yakuza 4 and Dead Souls with five playable characters, this week’s Famitsu reveals. Joining series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu are Taiga Saejima, Shun Akiyama, Haruka Sawamura, and newcomer Tatsuo Shinada.

Haruka is the first female playable character in the series. What happened to her as a result of previous events is being kept secret. Tatsuo Shinada is a former baseball player banned from the sport for gambling on games – a crime for which he may be innocent. He is currently being chased by debt collectors.

The sequel is set throughout five cities: Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Osaka. Each city houses one of the five main characters, whose stories will intertwine. Kiryu begins in Fukuoka, where he is a taxi driver. Saejima is serving a three-year prison sentence. Akiyama is headed to Osaka on business. Haruka is also in Osaka, pursuing her dream of becoming an idol, but her talent agency has different plans for her.

Yakuza 5 is the series’ largest project yet, and runs on an entirely new engine. The team has spent twice the amount of time developing the title, and its script is of the series’ greatest scale. The transition from adventure to battle scenes are seamless, and controls have seen a dramatic improvement. The game is currently 70 percent complete. It is due for PlayStation 3 in Japan this December.

TGS Trailer

Source: Gematsu

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Seems like the tale of Kazuma Kiryu is still ongoing or maybe someone else in Yakuza 4..
PS4 with Kinect type motion?

QUOTE

Next year, Nintendo is releasing a new home console, the Wii U. Taiwanese component makers tell tech site DigiTimes that Sony is readying a new home console for 2012. But that's not the interesting part.

These component manufacturer sources tell DigiTimes that the PlayStation 4 will feature body-movement controls like Microsoft's Kinect. That's the interesting, if not unexpected, part.

The PS3 currently has PlayStation Move motion controls, which are similar to the Wii's motion controls.

The report states Foxconn and Pegatron Technology will assemble the PS4 for Sony. Foxconn and Pegatron Technology both assemble the PS3, which was originally manufactured in Japan.

Sources told DigiTimes that the PS4 will go into production at the end of 2011 for a 2012 launch. Apparently Sony will manufacture 20 million PS4 consoles for 2012.
Taiwan-based component makers tell DigiTimes that the PlayStation 4 will feature body-movement controls like Microsoft's Kinect.

Previously, Kotaku reported that 2014 seems likely for a new Sony or Microsoft console—2013 if either Sony or Microsoft feels pushed. 2013 seems like a far more realistic date for a new PlayStation 4 than 2012, which is next year.

What's more, America's slow economic recovery could make launching after 2012 ultimately more profitable. Also, Sony is releasing its new portable, the PS Vita this year, and the Tokyo-based electronics giant might need a breather between hardware launches.

If DigiTimes' sources are correct, Sony could look to get the jump on Microsoft and thwart Nintendo in one fell swoop.

Since the PS3 launched, Sony has touted the machine's 10 year lifespan. The PS3 launched in 2006, six years into the PS2's lifespan. Even after the PS3 launched, Sony continued to support the PlayStation 2.

If the PlayStation 4 launches in 2012, that would be six years into the PS3's lifespan. Sony could continue to support the PS3 as it did with the PlayStation 2.

Kotaku reached out to Sony and will update this post should the company comment.

Source: Kotaku

Its too early to make a topic regarding PS4 because they will probably show people on next year E3 or the year after... But the news looks reliable.. Anyway, what you guys think?

PSP remaster series for PS3

QUOTE

Sony will be bringing classic PlayStation Portable titles to PlayStation 3 as part of a new PSP Remaster lineup. The company announced the series today along with its first major release.

PSP Remaster offers PSP titles remastered for play on the PS3. The games are spruced up with full HD visuals, compatibility with Dual Shock 3, PS3 exclusive content, 3D support, and other features.

The PSP and PS3 versions of the game also share save data. Sony says that this could allow you to play a game on the PSP while on the go, then continue playing when you return home.

The PS3 versions are also compatible with Sony's Ad Hoc Party for PlayStation Portable service for network play. This free PS3 app normally allows local play PSP titles to use the PS3 as a proxy for true online play.

The series will kick off first in Japan through sales of Blu-ray Disc titles, Sony said. The wording of Sony's statement suggests that the series will also be released internationally and will also see some games offered in download form. The press release did not explicitly mention these areas, though.

For the series' first title, Sony has a biggie. As detailed earlier today, Capcom will release a PS3 version of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd under the name Monster Hunter Portable HD. The 4.5 million selling PSP title will feature 3D support, HD visuals and shared save files with the PSP, and will see release this summer.

For more details on the Monster Hunter conversion see here

Non HD

HD-fied

Trailer

Huge MH HD-fied announcement pic..

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Well, we are in the HD era.. Sorry guys...

QUOTE

PSP Remasters for PlayStation 3 sounds like a fantastic idea, and is bound to make a lot of people very happy…save for those that like their trophies. Unfortunately, trophy support won’t be included in the PSP Remasters line.

The news comes via PlayStation-CS Blog, who got in touch with Sony Computer Entertainment support to ask about trophy inclusion in Remasters. SCE in Japan confirmed to them that trophy support will not be included.

This is just speculation, but one reason for this could be that in the case of games like Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver., save data will be transferrable between the PSP and PS3 versions of the game. Since the PSP is hacked , people might potentially be able to use it to acquire trophies by cheating.

Source: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/23/psp-r...trophy-support/

No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise

Release date:
NA: May 5th 2011
EU: May 20th 2011

Wiki Facts

QUOTE

No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise (ノーモア★ヒーローズ 英雄たちの楽園 Nō Moa Hīrōzu: Eiyūtachi no Rakuen) is an action video game developed by feelplus. The game is an enhanced port of the 2007 Wii video game No More Heroes, originally developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and directed by Goichi Suda.

In North America and Europe, it will be published by Konami in 2011 exclusively for the PlayStation 3, featuring support for the PlayStation Move.

Differences from No More Heroes

Several changes to the game from the original Wii version. The main differences between the two iterations are:
-High-definition graphics
-English and Japanese voice-acting
-"Very Sweet" Mode - Depicts the game's female characters wearing more "appealing" attire.
-Ability to stock up to three Dark Side mode charges, rather than having it activate immediately, like in the original.
-Unused Dark Side mode charges left over in the player's stock at the end of a Ranking Battle rewards Travis Touchdown with additional LB dollars. (as was the case with unused Anarchy in the Galaxy stocks in the original version of No More Heroes.)
-Players are now able to revisit Ranking Battles and cinematics, in the form of nightmares and dreams in an extras-like mode

PlayStation Move support

Player using the PlayStation Move controller for Travis powering up the katana.
Unlike the Japanese release of the game, the North American and European release of the game will include PlayStation Move support at launch. This is the only difference between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Players can use the PlayStation Move controller to recharge the katana, since the beam katanas run on batteries, as well as control it to execute attacks and advanced combos, much like the Wii version

Plot

The story follows Travis Touchdown, who is a stereotypical otaku – his motel room decorated with professional wrestling and anime collectibles – living in near poverty in the No More Heroes motel of the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California. After winning a beam katana in an internet auction, he runs out of money to buy video games and wrestling videos. After meeting with Sylvia Christel, he accepts a job to kill Helter Skelter, also known as "the Drifter," which earns him rank 11 by the United Assassins Association, a governing body of assassins. Realizing that he has the opportunity to make it to the top, he sets out to secure himself the coveted position of number one hitman in the UAA.

Gameplay

In Heroes' Paradise, the player character, Travis Touchdown travels around on foot or his motorcycle in a free roaming world killing the top ten assassins in order to make the storyline progress. There are numerous part time job side quests to earn money which can be spent on weapons, training sessions, clothes and video tapes

Most attacks are performed using a standard control scheme, with certain other moves, including the "death blow" and sword lock struggles, executed by following on-screen instructions.

Also, using either a DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller or the PlayStation Move motion controller players have access to a wide range of physical assaults and katana attacks, with each bout tracked by a dynamic camera that showcases the game’s stunning visuals and cinematic fight sequences. By varying the grip and control of the Beam Katana and the timing of their attacks, players have a wide range of moves at their disposal to help Travis battle and defeat his enemies. Defeated foes can also be dispatched with stunning finishing moves, allowing Travis to cement his rising reputation with a series of breathtaking kills.

Oh Yea Babe!
