If game requires more RAM than what the GPU has, it goes to take it from the PC's RAM (and in the process lowering the FPS)

If I go and allocate my RAM as VRAM (in BIOS), what's the difference than the GPU taking it by itself?

Buying laptop online

Planning to buy laptop online, since there are a lot more choices. Gonna ship to outside of KV, else I would buy and ship it myself.

Has anybody experienced buying laptop from Dell? Is it secure?

I've bought Apple stuff from their website, it seems they use a special delivery. The delivery guy was instructed to send by hand to me, and can't just leave it to the guards or box or anywhere in my compound. I'm hoping that Dell uses this kind of delivery too, so I would like to know if anyone has experienced buying from Dell website.

I assume it's under Sime Darby since the whole BJ is under Sime Darby, but Sime Darby Property website takde nama projek ini. On the signboard pun takde nama projek.

175sqft room, 2 people, east facing. I also use desktop PC for a long time on weekday. From online calculator some recommend 1.0HP, some 1.5HP, so I assume mine is edge case so now I pening.

Apa pro/cons if I pick too low or too high horsepower?

My front audio slot just gave up on me. So now I have only 1 audio slot. But I have speaker and headphone.

Previously I can switch whichever I want to use by selecting playback device in Windows. Now I'm stuck using only the rear audio.

Is there anything that can split the audio - take in 1 audio source (PC) and output it between 2 device (speaker/headphone), and let me toggle which device I want to use with a flick of a button? If there are, what are they called?

Questions about mesh

Hello. i am thinking to set up mesh, but i noob so i dunno many things..

If i buy 2 nodes....

1. Can one of the node be used as router? Or does it still need a separate dedicated router? Or... Can I use a router + just one node to create mesh?

2. Do the node requires dedicated cable or can it use wifi?

3. Why semua gambarajah letak 3 node, use only 2 node (1 as router + 1 as mesh node) cannot ar?

4. When they say mesh needs minimum 2 nodes...does that mean 1 main router + 2 nodes or is the router considered as node too?

I'm looking for standing desk:
- electric/motorized
- must be able to go as low as 62cm at least

Most desk can only go to minimum to 68cm, that's not low enough. I need lowerrr. Dont recommend me any Ikea, all the one I see in Ikea can't go lower than 70cm

I know Bristol Vertigo, looking for any other recommendation, if any

What if employer fail to honor their offer letter?

Let's say the offer letter states that the employer will provide life/health insurance. But the insurance provider decline to insure the employee for health reason, or risk, or whatever.

Doesn't that mean the employer fail to honor the offer letter? What happens next?

Employee can saman? But that means breaking the bridge between employee/er?

Aku ada HD 558. Thinking of selling this and getting the HD 4.40 BT, sebab dah serabut nak hadap wayar.

HD 4.40 BT punya grip sedap ke tak? If it's a strong grip, I will get serious headache. Ofis lama dulu pakai Jabra Evolve 40, I can't wear it longer than 30 minutes before feeling nauseous and headache. HD 558 ni aku pakai 3-4 jam pun okay lagi.

And sound quality wise, is HD 4.40 better or worse than HD 558?

1. Does the powerline need to go directly onto power socket, or can it go to power extension and still work?

Looking for CPU Ryzen 3600, so everything will be built around this. This PC is 10% gaming (can be anything from PSP emulator to Sim City to Dota2 to to Forza Horizon 3), 10% entertainment, 75% serious work (web and mobile programming, occasional fun project in ML).

1. If I look for B450/X470 (or anything 4-series mobo), would it support Ryzen 3000 out of the box?
2. Ada diff B450 vs X470?
3. Review said to look for highest speed RAM, does it really matter in daily life?
4. Will everything be plug and play since I'm moving from Intel (I'm currently on Sandy Bridge) to AMD?
5. Is now the best time to buy it?

Too many hoohas last week, hard to know which one is real or not

Previously, HP is all automatically opt-in by default. Then BNM buat hal, then have to opt-in manually. Then they reversed that decision.

So now my HP is already opt-in or not? Is it automatically opt-in or I have to do manual?

My loan is PB. No announcement in their website. Trying to call them but cant get through.

- Must have Bluetooth
- Must have mic, since I'm gonna use this for meeting
- Preferably over ear headphone. On ear headphone are acceptable. In ear earphone are ABSOLUTE NO, they are one of humanity's biggest mistake, second only to Javascript
- Roughly RM250 or thereabout

I was using Edifier W800BT previously, so you know my standard are pretty low lol. I have my HD 555 if I want to be audiophile, too bad it's not BT and doesnt have mic.
